Rayson had been in his room, but rushed out at the scream, stopping when he saw Daniel. A little cry left his throat, and he seemed to be unable to move. Victory, however, who had been in Angel's old bedroom with her family, putting the baby to bed, and had rushed out at the scream, took out her cell phone, dialing 911. Allen was holding Daniel to his cheek, sobbing.

Arcelio was still dialing the number when he heard Victory talking on her's, so he gave up, setting it back down. He started chewing his nails, breathing heavily, unable to bring himself to look back towards the bathroom. -
(sorrrrryyy)
Rayson finally got himself together, moving over to Arcelio to pull him close, staying like that until there were flashing lights outside, and medics came in, ripping Daniel away from his boyfriend, taking him out. Allen seemed to fall apart, curling into a ball on the floor, sobbing. -
Arcelio's breath kept catching in his throat, but each time it happened he swallowed it and breathed again. He was rather still in Rayson's arms, his eyes closed and tearless, only jolting to attention when he realized that they were taking Daniel away. "We have to go," he insisted, taking Rayson's shirt in his hand, "to the hospital, and make sure he's okay."
-
"Yeah," He responded, for some reason dry-eyed. "Allen'll come with us. Vic, stay here, and.. Yeah. Keys?"
-
Arcelio reached into his pocket, taking out the keys he'd been holding onto and putting them in Rayson's hand.
-
Rayson took them, rushing out to the car. Allen gathered himself, stood, and followed.
-
Arcelio was just about as quick to follow, running his hand through his hair, and still trying to breathe. When he got to the car, he got into the passenger seat, closing the door softly and buckling up.
-
Allen got in the back just as the car started to move, muttering a soft, "If I had gone a minute sooner.." Before going back to tears.
-
Arcelio felt that it was more his fault- the only reason he hadn't checked in on Daniel himself was because he didn't want to be awkward, and that was a pretty stupid reason. He sunk in his seat, staring out the window.
-
Rayson didn't say anything, but drove rather quickly, soon catching up to drive a few yards behind the ambulance. When it pulled into the hospital, Rayson stopped at the curb. "Get out and go in. I'm going to- Oh.. God. No, no, no! Not-- No!" He was unbuckling, the car rolling forward as he had forgotten to put it in park, because the medics were rolling a stretcher down, the body on it covered completely with a long white sheet. Allen let out a choked sob, getting out of the car, rushing over. Before anyone could do anything to stop him, he took the sheet off, stopping- It wasn't Daniel, but rather a middle aged man- They had followed the wrong ambulance to the wrong hospital.
-
Arcelio was suddenly aware of the car lurching forward, and it took him a second to realize it was moving. When he finally reacted to it, by trying to grab the emergency brake and pull it, he couldn't remember where it was. So he instead tried pulling the keys out of the ignition, which did absolutely nothing to stop the rolling. Panicking, he frantically searched for the emergency brake, only managing to find it and pull it seconds before he would have collided with another parked vehicle. "Dammit, Rayson!"
-
The man had gotten his seat belt off, but he was sitting back, silent. After a moment, he pulled out his phone, calling the other hospital, finding that Daniel had gotten there more than ten minutes ago. He was stable, had lost a lot of blood and was unconscious, but stable. Rayson hung up, turning to find Allen getting into the car. "He's fine," He breathed, smiling a bit. "Well, not fine, but.. He's gonna be alright."

(SWEETGODHASHADMERCY)
Arcelio had sat back in his seat, huffing. When he heard the announcement that Daniel was doing fine, he was already feeling better. "Thank god," he sighed, throwing his head back. "I don't know what I would have done." -
(haha sure)
"..We have to get up there, though. So.. Yeah." he took the keys back, and, in less than half an hour, they were pulling into the city's only other hospital. A man greeted them at the door, and Rayson had the room number within minutes. When they got in, Daniel was awake, but staring into space. He was attached to a blood bag, and an IV with fluids in it. A tray beside him held some sort of hospital dinner, but Rayson ignored all of it, going to stand by his side, examining the clear bandage on his left arm. Twelve stitches. "You're a f---ing idiot, Danny," He muttered, making sure it was loud enough for the boy to hear.
