"Stop, you're making it worse," Arcelio whispered harshly into the phone, as he heard Drake squeal and shuffle backwards. He was pretty angry at the boy as well, but he highly doubted that he had anything to do with Rosario's disappearance besides ignorance. "I'll be over in a minute. And Drake is coming with us."
-
It took a bit of convincing, but, Rosario managed to get his step father top park in front of Drake's house. The door was open, but the boy's Harley was still there, so, he was probably still there. But, Arcelio's car was there too, which meant Rayson might me there, but.. He had to let Drake know he was alright. So, quickly, he slid out of the car, heading inside. he was about to say something when his sister, who had appearently followed him, voiced a shrill, "OhmyGod That's a Harley! Who owns it? What year.."
"Hey! Don't touch that, it's not your's," Rosario hissed, but it didn't stop the girl from heading across the lawn towards the bike.
Rayson replied with a small, "Yes," And hung up. -
Since the door of Drake's house was still entirely wide open, Arcelio heard quite clearly after he hung up the phone a girl's voice outside of the house. He looked over, towards the doorway, and there was Rosario scolding whatever girl that'd spoken not to touch the Harley. "Ro!" Arcelio beamed, smiling- he'd never been so relieved in his life.
Drake breathed out heavily, taking another step back from Ocean. "Okay, knife guy, chill. There he is, put that away..." -
Rosario's head snapped back to Arcelio, and, catching a glimpse of the scene inside, where Ocean still hadn't moved, he barked a short, "Hey! Ocean, is that really needed?" The older boy shrugged, narrowed his eyes, and put the knife away, stepping back. Rosario was momentarily conflicted as to who to hug- Arcelio, or Drake. Drake, he decided, since he had probably been threatened for loosing him. It was a short hug, because Victory had came to retrieve her daughter. "Ro, reunions later. We have to go."
-
Arcelio was glad to see Rosario back, not so glad to see that it was a complete stranger who had brought him back and was apparently wanting him to go with them. "Uhm, hi, wait?" He said, eyebrows furrowed as he stepped to the doorway. "I don't know you, and I'd prefer if I did before you take Ro anywhere."
Drake was a little slow to hug Rosario back, considering that this other boy had claimed to be his boyfriend, but he ended up throwing his arms around the boy anyway. "Where were you?" He asked. -
(God, Mia, I found Alex's and I's thread and just.
I'm crying.
We were such dorks.)
Victory glanced Arcelio up and down. Yeah, he was one of Rayson's, she decided. It made sense- He would have moved on, after all, and this boy was just his type. She smiled, even though his words were hostile, and held out a hand. "Victory. I'm Rosario's mother. I assume you're.. Arcelio? His.. Almost his step father?"
Rosario pressed his face against Drake's shoulder, sighing softly. "I went for a walk," It really wasn't a lie, "And.. This guy picked me up. Mom said he was a pimp or something like that? I dunno." -
(Wait which thread is this)
Arcelio slowly took her hand, though not without a decent pause between her raising it and his action. Rayson had said that she was dead, yet here she apparently stood, shaking his hand and knowing his name. "Yes, that's me," he said, nodding. "Where did you say you were going? I heard you say needed to go, and Rayson believes that Rosario is still missing, so I'd really prefer if I could take him home."
Drake paled a little at this, but was a little glad to think that Rosario wasn't gone nearly long enough for anything to have happened to him. "Oh. Well, I'm glad you're back." -
(It was the one he made for us when we first started dating, and just.
We had an argument.
Over /Dora/)
"That's actually where I'm taking him. Well, to see Ray, anyways.. If he's actually alive, I mean. I've been following Archer for years now, but, five years ago, him and my baby both just.. Dropped off the radar. And then, he shows back up, here and.. And Ro with him, and.. I still don't really believe it." Victory's hand shake was firm, and her smile was just as so. "I suppose you've been well to my babies? Rayson is a handful, but.. As long as he's happy, I don't care. We both thought the other was dead. We moved on. Don't worry about that."
"Yeah," Rosario laughed a bit, running a finger through the bit of blood on Drake's cheek. "I'm sorry." -
(.. Who is Alex wait wat)
To be entirely honest, Arcelio's main worries at that moment were getting Rosario home and being sure that this wasn't going to mean that Rayson would be going back to Victory. He trusted Rayson, but himself, he could be the jealous type. "Then if it's alright, I'll take him in my car. He's very alive, I can asure you that."
Drake winced a little, giving Rosario another firm hug. "I think you're about to leave. Can I ask you something?" He bit the inside of his cheek, glancing at Ocean, who didn't seem to be listening. "You're not dating that kid, are you?" He asked quietly, nodding towards the one who'd claimed to be Ro's boyfriend. -
(A boyfriend I had on here about a year ago
Idk I don't think we talked back then)
She hesitated for a moment, but nodded, sighing a bit. "That would be best, I think. Ellie and Elyan are taking up most of the back, and Ty doesn't like having the car so.. Crowded. But you'll take him straight there, right?"
Rosario was caught off guard by the question, but quickly shook his head. "No. I'm not. He's just.." He glanced over at Ocean, who was now looking at them. "..Just a friend. I uh, he's nice and all, but.. No." He waited for a moment, before asking, softly, "Will you come with us? We're just going to the house, but Dad's there, and Mom doesn't believe me, and Arcelio doesn't, and I really need someone there who actually knows. Please?" -
-
"Of course I will," Arcelio nodded, already starting to feel a bit on edge. He'd already kept Rayson waiting for a while, and he didn't want the man to get worried about him. "We should get going. Ro? Victory agreed that it's best that you ride with... Me." He turned and saw Rosario clinging to that Drake boy and frowned. "Lovely," he muttered.
Drake was massively relieved that he hadn't been lied to by Rosario. "Yeah, of course I will." -
Victory nodded, and, with that, headed back to the car, someone managing to get her daughter to abandon the bike. Ocean, who had been silent this whole time, cleared his throat. "I'm gonna call up a friend and go stay with them tonight. Take care, Arcelio." With that, he left.
Rosario hesitated, but then pulled away, smiling softly at Drake. "Thank you. I.. I'll see you there, then." -
So, then, it was only Arcelio left with Rosario and Drake. "Alright, Ro," he said, sighing. "Let's go." He ushed the boy to follow, and started out the door.
Drake nodded to Rosario, and hurried to get shoes pulled on so that he could get on his bike and follow. -
The boy reluctantly followed Arcelio, moving to get in the passenger side and buckle up. "..You still don't believe me, do you? About what Dad did?"
