"Be careful," Arcelio sighed half-heartedly, though he knew that if he was drivig he would be speeding just the same.
-
Arcelio was quick to follow Rayson, stepping out of the truck along with him and to the doctor. Before they reached the man, Arcelio grabbed Rayson's hand, holding it tightly.
-
Arcelio stood where he was for a few more seconds, slowly absorbing what the doctor had told them. He turned around, only to see Rayson's knees give out. "Rayson--!" He cried, but the doctor rushed ahead of him to tend to the other.
-
Arcelio watched the small struggle Rayson was having with himself. Obviously devastated, more so than Arcelio. This was his son, after all. He hesitated, then slowly approached the grief-stricken man, moving to stand in front of him. "Rayson.. We need to leave.."
-
Arcelio took Rayson firmly by the shoulders, looking him in the eye. "If we stay, we will cause more trouble than good. They'll figure out who I am, and you'll get arrested, and it'll all be over. There is no situation where we will walk out of that hospital without being seperated."
-
Arcelio was pretty strongly opposed to letting Rayson go in at all. There was no way of knowing if someone in there would recognize him, or if they'd ask for identification and know that it was fake. But Arcelio could see how much Rayson needed it- a father's last goodbyes to his son. "... Okay. But... Be quick and careful..."
-
Arcelio nodded, even if in reality he didn't plan on leaving without Rayson. No matter what it took. When he walked away, Arcelio got into the driver's seat of the truck to wait for him.
-
(;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;)
Arcelio set his forehead against the top of the steering wheel, closing his eyes. He knew this was harder on Rayson than himself, but he had also made a promise to the small boy in the back of a van. He'd promised a family and people who loved him, and now Rosario was never going to experience it. The love was there, but he never got to feel it. He lived years thinking he was worth nothing, and as far as Arcelio knew, he died thinking the same. -

((IM SORRY I HAD TO HAVE IT BEFORE ANYONE ELSE GOT IT.))
Arcelio hadn't cried, only sat and thought to himself. He'd seen so much death in the past two weeks, it was making him numb.
As the car door opened, and Rayson sat down, he felt the kiss press to the side of his head. Arcelio sat up, looking at the man in the seat next to him. "Are you alright?" He asked quietly. -
(stalker dark is crying and hiding her face from her parents)
-
Arcelio sighed, starting the car, and pulling out of the parking lot onto the road again.
-
Arcelio hadn't expected to be kissed like that as soon as he parked the car, not that he minded. He kissed Rayson back, then pulled away after a few seconds. "What's that for?"
-
((f--- I just realized the last words Rosario got from Arcelio were "we're having sex"
._.))
Arcelio shrugged, hopping out of the truck and taking Rayson's hand. "Parents can be like that, I guess." -
"Uhm... They all are," Arcelio murmured, looking between the three sets of eyes that were all staring at them. "Well. Moving along then..." He pulled Rayson forward by the hand, towards the front door.
