Zanna examined the cards, then smiled faintly.
"You will lose something important, but in finding it, you will find what you searched for the longest. Your future is bright, and long, longer than natural."
Nix purred. -
Kaira smiled, almost chuckling a bit. "That first line kind of contradicts itself. But at least I got a nice fortune."
-
"It'll make sense eventually." Zanna laughed.
-
"I'm sure it will. Your fortunes are usually quite accurate." Kaira responded.
-
"Thank you, sweetie." Zanna replied, gathering her cards together and blowing on them gently, ridding them of energy.
-
Kaira smiled and glanced at the flyers strewn on one of the tables. "Is there any good jobs left?"
-
"I don't know. I think there might of been one about a missing person in the demon's forest." Zanna commented.
-
"Is that so?" Kaira murmured to herself. "Well, that job is not available anymore. Because I'm going to be accepting the job." She declared
-
Zanna smiled. "I'll spread the word." She joked.
-
(Sorry! I was having an anime marathon yesterday.)
She grinned. "Yes, tell everyone that the great Kaira Venar will be taking the job!" She giggled. Then the giggle turned into a laugh. -
(Bump~)
-
(Sorry!)
Zanna laughed.
Nix quickly darted out the window, taking this distraction as his leave.
Girl in his forest? He didn't remember mention of that? Unless...it was a trap.
He darted down the streets, cursing himself for letting those stupid Iron Claw Guild goons live. -
(It's fine~)
Kaira noticed the black cat exit through the window. It seemed like it knew something. Kaira shook her head lightly. A cat knowing something about the job? Maybe, but she wanted to figure it out on her own. Kaira stretched a bit, slightly for dramatic effect. She turned and walked towards the door. She raised her hand and did a slight wave, "I'm heading out." -
Zanna and a few of the other members waved, a few said goodbyes.
Nix shifted to demon form in the forest. His black fur shifted and flowed across his body like ink. His paws almost seemed like they should leave traces of his presence, but of course it didn't.
His red eyes glowed with hidden fire. -
Kaira opened the guild doors and exited, letting the door slam behind her. She walked towards the demon's forest. She heard whispering and she saw people pointing at her. Kaira frowned slightly, trying her best to show that she didn't care. But she did care. Members of Devoted Sun were usually treated the same way on the streets of the town. Kaira shook her head and continued towards the demon's forest, this time she moved a bit faster.
