The vampire looked surprised that Sebastian jumped at him and was already in half wolf form. He snarled at Sebastian and tried to bite him, but Sebastian clamped his jaw shut. "Tell Clark to stay away from my home, my servants, and my FAMILY!" He screamed the whole thing at the vampire as he hurled it through a window.

Maria heard him screaming, and then the crash of another window breaking. She shrunk into the blankets, praying that he hadn't been hurt.

He looked through the broken window and saw the vampire was hobbling away. He blinked and sighed happily, but he needed to get to someone. He walked out of the office and to his room, unharmed. He smiled at Maria. "See? I told you I'd come back in one piece."

She tackled him in a hug and held him tightly. "Who was it?" She asked, looking up at him. She could already feel the warmth returning to her body. Whatever it was was gone now.

He laughed lightly and fell over, returning her hug. "Just a nosy vampire, but I got rid of him." He kissed her cheek.

She sighed and smiled as he kissed her. "I'm glad you're not hurt." She bit her lip. "But I heard you say family. What will they think?" Maria sounded worried. She shuddered at the thought of the vampires finding out about the baby.

He hugged her gently and nuzzled her throat. "Maria, they will think it's just about me. I'm the only Wolfe alive right now, and..." he placed his hands gently onto her stomach. "I think they wouldn't notice you."

Maria nodded, comforted by his words. "That's good. If they knew about the baby.." She shook her head. "Nevermind. I don't want to think about that."

He sighed lightly. "I don't even want to think about it Maria." He leaned his forehead against hers and looked at her. "If Clark found out about you I'd kill him personally. He will never lay a finger on you ever again."

"That's what I'm worried about though." She told him. "If you got hurt, trying to protect me..." Maria glanced down at the ground.

"Maria you're going to have my kid, I have to be protective of you, even die for you and the little one if I had to." He sighed lightly. "I just want you to be safe. That's all I want."

"And that's all I want for you. For us." She added, before sighing. "But they don't know about the baby, right? We should stop worrying so much..." Maria leaned lightly against him.

He sighed a bit when she leaned on him. "Let's...get our mind off it okay Maria? Let's be happy dear." He kissed her forehead.

She nodded and gave him a small smile. "That would be nice. What do you want to do?" Maria asked, tilting her head to look at him. There was just something about him, the blue of his eyes, or the kindness in his smile. She loved him.

He smiled lightly and kissed her cheek. "I don't...know what to do Maria." He nuzzled her neck gently and sighed happily.
