Danny watched as Chara went offline. "That's a good question, alright."

"Well, I mean, what if this situation was inevitable? Like the world's end? We could do anything and everything to stop it, and it would all be for naught. I just hope that I'm only being a worrywart," Cassandra mumbled.

"If that would be the case, then that wouldn't be good at all." Danny then looked behind himself as if something was behind him, then saw a bunch more of those black shadow figures. They were slowly moving towards the light switch. Danny stood up and ran towards it.

Cassandra frowned, her eyes narrowing as she briefly sensed another magical presence in the room. "What was that?"

Danny turned to face her. "Another shadow being." Suddenly, one of the shadows got out of the wall and onto Danny's skin. It started to burn where it touched. "Aah!" But then, the shadow being then fell to the floor, and melted away.

The words 'Project: Assimilation Nova' echoed through my head. So, the rogues are trying to take over so soon? That's no fun. I needed to find the humans, those who can stop it. I already knew where they were. I turned into an eagle and flew to the house. Just as I landed, I saw a shadow creature, a Lethifold no less, attack the one boy. I turned back to my human form. The creature dropped to the floor for some reason. Odd. Maybe the boy isn't human.

Danny just stood there, watching as his skin started healing by itself. As it did, smoke rose from it. He turned around to see someone watching him.

He already started healing. He looked and saw me. I just stared back. After a few minutes, I grinned at him, showing my slightly sharp teeth.

Cassandra frowned as Danny called out in pain. "What is it?" she asked. Then shrugged and turned away once she noticed his skin smoking during the healing process.
