Yeah, 'murica works. xD
I'll start us off.
It was twelve to one in the morning as Danny woke up in bed, sweating in fear at the nightmare he'd just had. Sitting up, he pulled off the blanket covering him and walked out of his room. He immediately began recalling the dream he had moments before, and started swearing at himself for feeling so scared in the first place. "I'm not sleeping now, so might as well watch some t.v." Sitting in a recliner, he picked up the remote and turned the little box on. -
i cant help but do first person. ._.
my power systems started up when danny sat down on the couch to watch t.v. i smile and hop over next to him. i pinch at his cheek and press myself up against him. "good morning, danny! top o the mornin' to ya!" i back flip to the kitchen to start up pancakes. since my house was burned down, i had moved in with danny after my reincarnation. "eggs or waffles, dan-chan?" i ask, quickly whipping out pots and pans. -
That's fine.
"Hey!" Laughing, he says, "Eggs, please." He had constantly reminded himself to be polite, as he could not cook to save his life. Looking out the window, he begins to see shadows that seem to be moving, but quickly dismisses it as being tired. Danny slowly walks into the kitchen. "What's the date today?" -
"october 21, danaran." i finish the eggs and my pancake and set them on the table. "why do you ask, danny?" danny-sensei always intrested me, always so mysterious and funny. i ait down and use my claws to cut my pancake, and start eating. "mm... thish ish good foof! mm... try shum... yeah?" i gulp down the remains and look over to syrup. i sigh,wishing i had put syrup on my pancake. it would have tasted much better...

Danny pulls a chair up to the table and sits down. "The twenty-first already? Today, there is supposed to be a video made by the government playing on the television. All that was said about it was, 'They will awaken'. It sounds interesting." Quickly gulping down his eggs, Danny smiles and says, "You are an awesome cook. Thanks for breakfast." Taking a look at his watch, he reads the time aloud. "Five in the morning. Still have some time before I have to go."

"sounds intresting, yes!" i look outside, the tiny snowflakes pitter-pattering outside the window. "ooh! snow" i paw at the window, drawn in by the snow flakes, then a dark shadow rushes past the window. i gasp, and fall back. "AGH! a shadow monster! beast-creature-monster thing of shadows rushed past the window! did you see it, danny-chan?" i ask, getting back up.

Danny nods, then gets out of the chair and walks over to the window. Pushing the window open, he gasps as the cold air meets his warm skin. "I wonder what that was..." Instinctively, he closes the window after that, and walks into his room to get dressed.

i had no need to get dressed, for i always wear the same clothes. i also sleep on the other couch, and its quite comfterable. i stare at the window again, keeping a sharp lookout for any more shadow beasts. but, i do hide behind a sofa,just for some cover in case the beast of shadows has the idea it wants to come inside.

Putting on his usual clothes- green shirt, black jeans, and combat boots- Danny opens his room door. However, he stops suddenly, hearing what sounded like a man talking. You will know us, fear us, loathe us.... At that moment, the television suddenly started an unknown program. Danny was frozen in place when it started.
