"I know... I'm sorry." She smiled sheepishly. "Not that it bothers me, but... why are you here?"
-
He sighed. "I took the wrong path trying to get home, then after that I got lost in the snow storm."
-
"And then you were attacked. Do you mind if I heal your wound?" She turned to the fireplace in the bedroom and snapped her fingers, successfully lighting the fire in the fireplace on her first try. She beamed.
-
His eyes went wide when he saw the fire place catch on fire by itself. He scooted back against the headboard, accidentally hitting his head against the wall. "W-what? How are you going to heal it?!"
-
"Magic." She scooted toward him, a bit concerned because he'd hit his head.
-
"Magic...? that's not real. Magic is only fairy tale stuff." He watched her carefully.
-
"It's real." She smiled a bit, and held out her hand. A small snow flurry appeared above her palm.
-
He shook his head and muttered under his breath. "Fine you can heal me or what ever. I'll probably leave in the morning."
-
She shook her head. "You won't." She reached out and placed both hands on his leg gingerly, starting the process.
-
He watched her and sighed. "What do you mean I won't? I need to leave tomorrow. I have to go back home."
-
"The snow is really piling up outside. We'll probably be stuck in for a little while." She smiled sympathetically. "Why do you need to get home so quickly?"
-
He huffed lightly. "I have things to take care of, animals to feed and keep warm." He looked at her. "You're oddly nice."
-
"Are you a farmer? Won't your family take care of everything?" She removed her hands and inspected her work, a bit proud of how neatly it'd healed. There was only a small scar left. "Do you want me to be mean? Should I have thrown you into the dungeon instead?"
-
He nodded. "I'm a farmer and my family...they aren't in this world anymore." He looked at his leg and smiled. "Thanks, but no. Usually people are rude when someone shows up uninvited."

sorry lost my bus pass had to walk all the way back to the stop to find it
"I'm sorry." She frowned. "And those wolves do that way too often. I'm used to it, but they usually don't actually attack. And the person they're after usually doesn't pass out on my doorstep." She sighed. "Will you be okay for tonight?"
