She smiled a bit, happy that they'd decided to do this before he actually did get lost. She reached out and gently took his hand, then started down the hall with him.
-
He shook his head and smiled a bit, holding onto her hand. This girl...was odd but maybe that happens when you're alone in a big castle. They passed a large window and he glanced out of it, seeing the whole place was covered in blankets of snow.
-
She looked out the window. "Yeah... you're stuck."
-
He shrugged lightly. "I don't mind, I'll think of this as a...mini vacation." He looked at her and grinned.
-
Lottie smiled back, then continued leading him through the house. "What's it like being a farmer?"
-
"You work most of the time, tend to animals, sell animals to people who need them and other things. You usually have to wake up at the crack of dawn and work til the sun goes down."
-
"That sounds kind of terrible. I wouldn't be able to do that." She frowned a bit. "Not without magic, anyway."
-
He laughed and shook his head, looking at her with a pure white smile. "I don't use magic and I did totally fine as an excellent farmer."
-
"Well of course you haven't, it's something you're born with. And something that you grow reliant upon." She stopped outside of the large doors they'd just reached, let go of his hand, and pulled one open with magic. Inside, there was a colossal room full of shelves of books.
-
His eyes widened a bit at the mass of books in the room. He let go of her hand and walked into the room. He had never seen this many books in one room, the small library in the village didn't have as many as the ones here.
-
She smiled. "Borrow anything you want."
-
He laughed and looked at her. "You'd be missing alot of books since you've said that to me." He walked over to her and hugged her. "Thanks."
-
She blushed a bit, not knowing whether or not to hug back. "You're welcome."
-
He grinned and let go, soon going off the explore the library, trying to find something interesting for him to read.
-
She sat against the door and waited.
