"I noticed, Mels." He chuckled, and took off his mask. He checked the time.
"Hm...getting late, you should probably find that gift soon." -
"Oh! Right. The gift.." Amelia set the masks back where they belonged. She started to look at the more expensive masks. One she picked out the one she preferred the most, she went over to the counter and bought it.
-
"He must be a really important fan. What's his name?" Raphael asked, politely, trying to hide his jealousy but failing.
-
"I have no clue. He.. He calls himself the Angel of Music." She sighed, stroking the mask. "I've never seen him before. That's why I got the mask- to be ironic." She smiled up at him. "You'll get something far better than a mask, though, silly."
-
"I see." He nodded, then smiled again "Ah~ Well, Mels, thank you. We should probably get going, the star can't be late."
-
"I'll be seeing you after the show, right? My room is in the hall that has purple carpeting, down at the end." She smiled as she started to walk out of the store.
-
"I'll see if I have time." He joked, then leaned down and kissed her forehead. "I have to go find my father now, but good luck." He then proceeded to walk off.
All the while the Phantom had been assisting from the shadows in the preparations, adjusting things as he saw fit. -
Amelia hurried back to the Oprah house. Once she got back to her room, she set the mask down beside the vase. She wondered if she'd upset her fan by writing a letter telling him that he sound stop giving her things.. But she had to. She finally had her prince, and nothing would stop that.
The note that she set beside the mask read, 'To my Angel of Music, I admire all that you've done for me. Unfortunately, I've found someone, and I'd rather you not waste your time on me anymore. I thank you for your support. Sincerely, Amelia' -
Raphael stood with his father in the entrance hall, chatting with the directors politely.
(way to enrage a phantom dark.xD)
The Phantom went to her room, standing behind the mirror, watching her curiously. A mask? Cute. But what did the note say? -
(you're the one who FORCED ME to do a LOVE TRIANGLE so I must make it DRAMATICCCCCCCCCCCCCC)
Amelia sighed as she stared at the note. Was it too much? She thought about rewriting it, but her free time was up. She had less than ten minutes to prepare and get down there. Grabbing a list of songs she was to sing that was on her bed, she hurried out into the hall towards the back stage area. -
(I DIDN'T FORCE YOU YOU LIAR~ >:P)
The Phantom slid the door open as her door to her room was closed, and went to the dresser, picking up the note.
As he read it, his hands trembled with anger. He turned quickly, knocking her stuff off her dresser in his rage. The vase shattered. He grabbed the mask and quickly fled back behind the mirror, trying to calm himself. How dare she defy him! He, who'd given up everything to help her?! -
(DARK FEELS BAD FOR HIM
PHANTOM BE BRAVE
BE STRONG
I LOVE YOU MORE THAN HER)
Amelia made it to the stage with five minutes left to spare. She read through the list. They were all fairly easy, and she knew them all by heart. With only one minute left, she began to ponder about her fan. Would he be upset? Or would he be fine with her choice, and leave her be?
She had no more time to think about awful thoughts. The show had started. She entered the stage, a smile plastered onto her face. She sang and danced on the stage to the best of her abilities. -
Raphael sat with his father close to the front, smiling as he watched her.
The Phantom, on the otherhand, glared down at the stage from his balcony box, leaning out of the shadows for the first time since Madam LaRae's departure. -
Amelia was tired when it ended. She had taken in features of everyone in the crowd. She had seen Raphael and had gotten an extra spring in her step. However, she looked up for the first time at the balcony boxes, and saw someone wearing a mask. He made her a bit weary.
She stayed backstage for a while, drinking as much water as she could and eating a few cookies. When she remembered asking Raphael to come to her room, she started to run back, eager to see him once more. -
The Phantom waited behind the mirror for her to enter. He would speak to her about this matter, before Mister Vandesdelca could arrive.
