You're making me so happy Lucky omg))
Grant fell roughly on his(dat) posterior(ass). He gritted his teeth as he looked down and heard the footsteps of the group, moving further and further away. Once he was for sure they were gone, he looked to the side in search of his book. Oh, there it is. He crawled over to it and picked it up, examining it. It was very damage. Just a bit dirty.
Grant stood up. Then started thinking about Russell's words. 'See you in Gym.' That was second period... Those four words bounced around in his skull. Then, he was cut off by the bell ringing. "Crap!" He quickly ran through the doors and jogged down the hall to go to his World History class. Thank god he didn't share that with Russell, too. -
Yays! X3 )
Russell was laughing with his friends all the way to first period. He settled down and prepared himself for one of Mr. Thomson's lectures on chemistry. His mind wandered, thinking of all the fun he would have messing with Grant next period. It was fun feeling like the strongest, the best. Pushing kids like him around made Russell feel like the one in charge, and it was a good feeling. He enjoyed watching him squirm uncomfortably, or the way he would freeze up at the sound of Russell's voice behind him.
Gtg!) -
Grant listened to the teacher closely. Taking note of everyword that escaped his mouth. A couple times he would accidently write the out of context things or even a sneeze. Soon after he heard the bell ring. His heart froze a bit when it did. Grant sighed before slowly standing up and packing his things. He sulked as he slowly walked down the hall. Then, opening the door to the gym. His eyes wandered aroun the gymnasium.
No sign of Russell yet, thank god.. He scurried in to the locker room, hoping if he cold get dressed quickly he won't have to get hurt then and there. He opened the locker. Afterwards he started to take off his shirt. When he did, the brusies and scares from his youth to now were showing. -
-
Russell ducked into the locker room, immediately spying Grant. He whistled mockingly. "Look at that, ladies." He laughed with a few boys around him. The shorter teen's bruises were nothing new to Russell. Heck, he'd even caused a few. So he ignored them, as always, tugging his shirt off to slip a gym uniform over his well-toned body.
-
Grant sighed a bit and put on the uniform. He wanted to wait til everyone else was gone before heading out, so he stood idle at his locker, pretending to do something. One by one the boys left. He just hoped Russell did too.
-
Russell stepped towards the exit, but paused for a moment when he caught sight of a lingering figure. Grant. Of course. He stalked over to him, jabbing a finger at his chest. "Whaddaya waiting for, huh?"
-
All of the other boys seemed to have left. Hoping Russell was one of them. Until he turned to see Russell in front of him. His finger jabbed his chest and Grant wasn't sure of how to react. "..." He just stayed silent. But something felt off. His chest got a little warmer.
-
Russell stared at him hard. "I asked you a question." He growled, shoving his hand against Grant's chest. At the same time, Russell felt an unfamiliar tug in his own chest, followed by an alien warmth. He ignored it though, blaming it on the humidity of the sweaty locker room.
-
"..." Grant still couldn't say anything. His eyes were still on Russell though. Honestly, he was scared, you could see it in his eyes. Fear is what makes him choke up the most. The feeling he had in his now aching chest didn't help either. It felt like something was drawing a bow on his heart strings. A very unfamiliar feeling.
-
Russell glared at him, his fingers curling around the collar of Grant's uniform. Their faces were now inched apart, a position which, in other circumstances, would look rather suggestive. "Answer me." He said in a low whisper. Suddenly his chest tightened and the warm feeling seemed to double. It wasn't unpleasant though. Rather than searing hot, it was almost comforting. His eyes flickered down for a split-second, only to see...
Russell leapt back, shoving the smaller boy away from him as though he'd been burned. His chest was glowing as though his heart had been replaced with a lightbulb, and the only other person here was...was Grant. -
He simply looked at him. When Russell brought Grant closer he already knew his fate. He couldn't talk. His eyes squeezed shut. Even if he did he would still get beaten again. But, no. That didn't happen. Instead his chest tightened and warmed up even more. Grant's eyes flew open at the sensation. The burning yet pleasant sensation. Suddenly he saw a light shining from Russell's chest and next he was shoved back in to the locker.
His chest is glowing? No. No. Grant hesitated to look down. His chest was lighten up. Glowing a bright orange tint. This definitely startled him. The teen held on to chest. He could feel his heart pounding. Is this really happening? This MUST be a mistake. Because the only person here was.... Russell.. -
Is it wrong that I find this adorable? C:)
Russell took a moment to glance between his chest, a pale white glow, and Grant's which was kit with a sunset-colored tint. After recovering from the intitial shock, he turned away from Grant. He took a deep breath, and released a frustrated groan, slamming his fist into the lockers. "This is some kind of joke," He muttered, his fists clenching and i clenching as he battled his conflicting emotions. Disbelief. Fury. And strangely...amusmant. How ironic that out of billions of people he'd gotten stuck with Grant. -
Not at all! It's really cute omg))
Grant, Like always, wasn't sure of how to react. He was still in shock about this. Being paired with Russell. Oh god why? The person that makes him feel worthless everyday.. He had to be with him forever. For a moment he felt himself fade away but came back. He shook his head and pushed his glasses up with two fingers. Grant looked away. Hoping if he didn't see it it'll go away. It'll all just fade away. But no. It didn't. His chest was still raging and nothing changed. "Oh, the Irony..." He muttered to himself. "Seems like god hates me too." He muttered again but more quietly. -
X3)
After a few more minutes of muttering and grunting to himself, Russell turned. His dark eyes locked onto Grant's soft green ones, hidden behind the glasses. "What now?" He asked, crossing his arms. "You're supposed to be some kind of genius, right? Figure a way out of this." On the word 'this' he gestured between their chests and looked at Grant expectantly. "I already know you can talk, so don't you dare clan up on me."
