"..oh.. That's.. Terrible." She looked at him this time. Now she definitely felt like a b---- for treating him the way she did. Then again. It was still hard to trust him. No time to let sympathy get the best of her.

"They were, however, some of the first of us to realize that eating humans was why many of us were so vicious and mindless. My parents are... my parents are kind of considered a big deal among the undead society." He got out of the elevator and started down the hall.

She listened to him and followed behind him. Her eyes wondered around the hall before they went back to Seth.

Seth unlocked the door and held it for her.

She paused for a moment when he opened the door for her and shrugged it off. Then she entered the room

He shut the door behind her. "If anyone shows up, you're my maid and your papers haven't been processed."

"Alrighty." She looked around the room. Light shined on her from the big window on the iter side of the room. Simone stayed by the door way and crossed her arms, covering them with both palms. It felt pretty cold in here.

"Do you want me to turn on the heat?" he asked. He wasn't cold or warm or... well, he reflected the heat of the room, so his body probably would've felt cold to her.

She nodded, slowly rubbing her crossed arms with her gloved hands.

He walked over to the little box on the wall and adjusted it accordingly.

When he walked to the thermastat, she walked over to the couch and sat on it, arms still crossed.

He walked over and sat in a chair across from the couch. "So... Simone..."

She looked at him, a bit confused. "Sooo?"

"You can stay here as long as you'd like, really. The guest room is all yours. I'd like you to take a shower sometime today, just because you smell... way too human." He sighed.

Thank. Wait. Too human? The f--- is that suppose to mean? Nevermind, don't answer that." She stood up. "I'll take one now."
