She stopped in her tracks. "Oh my f- What now??" Her hands rested on her hips.

He grabbed her wrist and pulled her over behind one of the crumbling walls. Just as they were hidden, the group started walking by. He couldn't make out everything they said, but a good amount of it was momentary investigation for the cause of the human scent.

She was surprised when he abruptedly pulled her behind the wall. "What are you doing? Oh wait, I probably shouldn't ask cause you won't answer any of my questions anyway!"

He covered her mouth. "Be quiet," he whispered.

She rolled her eyes and stopped talking.

He listened as they talked, and waited with her until they were gone.

Simone glared at Seth. With her mouth covered, she mumbled incoherent insults.

When they were gone, he let go of her and stood up, looking over the wall. "Sorry."

She scooted from him. And stood up. "Just, leave alone, okay?" Simone then started walking in the direction she was going before, again.

He watched her walk away. "I was trying to help you. They would've taken you otherwise."

She simply ignored him. "Cool story man."

He settled against the brick wall again. She didn't understand that he'd just prevented her kidnap and possible death. Screw her.

She turned a corner. The guy was out of her sight. She continued to walk, this time trying to find the gang of rebels. She didn't trust Seth to follow her. After walking a bit more she was somewhat closer. Simone sat down on a curb and pulled out her revolver, getting a look at it, making sure it wasn't messed up on anyway.

He figured that she'd probably find that small group of zombies at some point, and while they technically weren't allowed to eat humans anymore, that didn't mean they wouldn't.

She aimed her gun in the air and grinned. "Hm. When I get back to the base I should probably switch out with something more... Destructive!"
Crunch!
She paused. What was that noise?
