She smiled back. "You're getting better, soon you won't need me anymore." She thought for a moment and wrote the word love on the paper.

He looked at it. "I can't translate that as well..." He wrote I love you on the paper, then beneath it, a sentence in Slaorian. "It translates more to I find your existence extremely pleasing."

She blinked lightly. "You...don't have that word in your language?" When she saw I love you on the paper, she blushed a bit and stayed quiet about it.

He shrugged. "It translates to lust, more than romantic love." He thought for a moment, then slowly said a word. "That would be it. It literally translates to joy from another, but it holds the same meaning."

She huffed and shook her head. "That's odd....but at least you're not asking me to explain it." She started to write other phrases.

"Explain love? I think I know what that is." He smiled at her.

She looked at him. "Really? Then what is love Ori?"

"Love is... Love is putting yourself in the way of any harm coming toward someone, and despite the pain of whatever you defended them from, knowing that they're okay makes you feel so much better. And you know they'd do the same for you." He smiled. "If that makes sense."

She smiled back. "Correct. Sadly my own species doesn't understand that meaning. Men on my planet are a--holes."

"I'm not male. Or female, for that matter." He leaned over and pressed his lips against the tip of her nose.

"Yes, you've explained that to me before." She blushed deeply. "H-hey! What w-was that for?"

"You liked it." He kissed her cheek. "Don't deny it."

She blushed more. "I-I didn't say t-that I was denying i-it." She smiled at him.

He grinned and leaned back. "I'm not going to explain the lust part, if you were expecting me to."

She rolled her eyes. "I knew you wouldn't anyways." She got up and went to the kitchen and looked around. She looked at him. "You don't have any alcohol here do you?"
