She blinked. "hm...that's interesting. I'm just thinking English right now." She stuck her tongue out at him teasingly.

"It's your first language, isn't it?" he asked.

She nodded lightly. "Yeah. It was my first language. I learned Spanish and then French in high school."

"If I teach you Slaorian, you should teach me one of those languages."

She laughed lightly and shook her head. "Spanish is harder than English and French is harder than Spanish. Besides...I'd have to have a textbook with me." She said and sighed lightly, leaning on the counter. "I could help you more with English but..."

He nodded. "You know, you've been the best English practice for me. Most of us are very formal about speaking English, if we know how to."

She blushed lightly and smiled, scratching the back of her head. "Um...you're welcome. That's interesting."

"You speak it in the way that it's spoken, not in the way that it's taught." He'd been making pancakes, and flipped the last one over. He put it on a plate with the rest and checked on the fruit, which he'd put in a bowl with sugar so it would taste great on top. "I'm not a fantastic chef, but I hope you enjoy this."

She smiled lightly. "Thanks, I'm a terrible cook myself as you've seen so were both even." She walked back over to the table and sat down. "Trust me I've always been a terrible cook."

He brought the food over, then went back and got silverware and plates.

She drooled lightly as she looked at the food.

Orion sat down and grinned at her. "Go ahead."

She started to eat happily and looked up at him. "this is great!" She said with her mouth full.

au where they're on earth instead and she figures out some way to rickroll him and he doesn't understand that it's a joke so he listens to the whole song and is really flustered because he feels the same but doesn't know how to express it
He smiled. She looked adorable even when she had her mouth full. -

She blushed deeply and closed her mouth quickly, eating with her mouth closed.
