Lilly glued to her seat. It felt wonderful to have something to lay on. She clenched her gun tho because she didn't know how she felt about this guy or if something would just pop up. Nothing ever good happened anyway. So she knew to play it off smart.
-
Luke quickly fell in-to the abyss of sleep, unaware of the predicament he could easily fall in.
~~~~
Jerry continued to mindlessly drive the Pick-up forward, despite there being several burnt-out frames of smoking cars littering the street. Sooner or later, he would crash.
~~~~
"Dad? What -- What happened?" Alexis asked, as if begging for an answer. She wanted to know before she cgot hit by one of those burnt-out husks. -
Lilly eyes focused on the window. She was way more then tired and every time she looked at Jake he would look away. Her eyes began to fall. She didn't want to sleep but her mind was telling her different. She was out.
Jake looked down at Lilly. She was asleep. Then to the boy. He didn't mind having him around, in fact he liked him but he didn't trust him at all. -
(Sorry I left. You still here?)
-
(I am now.)

(What the f---. DAMMIT, WHY THE HELL DO MY POSTS NEVER GET SUBMITTED?!)
The only sound that the now-unconscious Luke made was a light snore as he froze on the back seat, despite it was quite dirty.
~~~~
Jerry finally snapped out of his shocked stage and looked at his daughter, Alexis. Finally driving far more carefully, he began to speak. "Honey, when I leave, you've got to trust no-one. Never. If you trust them and they're humans, who knows what they'd do. If I leave, I'm giving you permission to scavenge me. I don't want you to die too."
~~~~
Alexis was quite frankly confused about this whole ordeal. "Why... Why are you talking about this now?" She asked her father. -
Jake layed back. It was refreshing. But he wanted to go out. He was tired of running all day and clearly Lilly didn't trust him taking care of them. He knew this was a huge idea and totally a death threat but he crawled out the car, taking the gun with him. He knew if he had to shoot it then they would hear. He sighed to himself before skipping down the older, dirt road. It looked around 1 or 2 in the morning anyways.
-
Jerry continued to stare back at the road. "We just got mauled by a group of zombies." He asnwered noncomittedly. Feeling nauseous, he began to feel the effects of the bite.
-
Jake clicked his gun. They only thing he heard was his leather boot thumping against the road. Hopefully it would stay this perfect. But he knew this would come to a end. He didn't want to tell his sister but he knew if anyone came around unwanted he would step up first and knock that bullet in there pretty skull. He rubbed his golden hair, he felt insane or something. Maybe he was but whatever he was ready to fight.
-
Jerry drove across the long street, beginning to pass the large neighborhood. As he looked from one side to the other, he realized just how many people had been affected by this... Out-break.
~~~~
Alexis sat back in her chair, only moderately comfortable with his answer. Still, she had a nagging feeling in the back of her head that such wasn't the truth. -
Jake soon turned around forgetting to check his surroundings. Thank goodness it was just one and a slow one at that. He sighed again pulling out his own pocket knife and stabbing it in the walkers head. "Sorry girl." He said knocking it's lifeless body to the ground. There car was a tiny dot far in the distance now, but he didn't care since the cool night made him forget everyone. He missed being in school with his friends. He missed his mom...Even his mad all the time dad.
-
(Jerry is currently driving in a street nearby the forest, but will dissapear soon.)
Jerry continued driving the Jeep. Glancing quickly at his fuel meter, he sighed a small sigh of relief. "Ow!" He exclaimed, and his right hand shot to his right shin, feeling the pain of the bite. When should he tell her... Either way, he needed to teach her how to drive properly, even it is a crash-course. -
(Got ya ^~^)
Jake started feeling horrible himself. He was tired and the dust made him cough. "Find a tree." His mind tould him. So he looked around. The tree he started to climb was a oak tree. It was pretty huge. He climbed and climbed it until his dusty hands couldn't touch the bark any more. So he dragged his body to the nearest branch. It was a nice sturdy branch, so he got comfortable. His blue orbs drew to the sky. He did something that night he never thought he would do again. He prayed. -
(Gotta take a shower and may or may not be on. XD)
Jerry continued to drive down the surprisingly straight road, not uttering a word, but taking in all the husks of cars and bodies, both dead and... The deader. -
