(Cool. NOW ROLL 'DEM DICE, GURL!)

Jake jerked up fast. He heard a bonfire crackling in the background. He could see the glow as well. "Wonderful." He frowned. They were guys. Guys that always sound drunk, the killing type. He glared down the tree. There was 3 walkers. 2 girls and One boy. He looked back at the camp fire. It was a poorly done one and they were being loud as crap.

(SOWWEH)
Jerry drove his Ram pickup through the littered street until he hit a curve in the road. Going over and past the curve, he slowed down and began to tread lightly across a mild grassy terrain. Off in the distance, he could hear the loud ramblings of... Humans, he thought, and a small camp fire.
~~~~
Alexis sat patiently in her passenger seat, looking out the window and observing the mass carnage that had already ensued. "Humanity wasn't prepared..." Alexis looked down with a saddened frown. -
Jake listerned. "A car?" He thought to himself hearing it. He clicked his gun ready to shoot. Bang 1. Bang 2. Bang 3. Zombies down. He could hear the cursing of the boys, so he took off out of the woods but he stayed in the grass. His mind raced and out of it all he was happy to say, that he was only a bit tired.
-
(Jerry is now nearing you slowly. He's 'bout 100 meters away, but he's about to come in-to view very soon.)
Driving a small ways forward, Jerry killed the engine and plopped back in his seat, sinking in the seat as best he could, to hide from vision. Gesturing his daughter to do the same, she did so, unsure of the situation.
"Well. I don't quite know how to explain this, but you... I need... I need to teach you how to dr -- drive." Jerry grasped his temples. The hyper-growth cancer was already interfering with his thought process.
"You're going to have to drive on your own soon. I... Won't... Won't be around. That's why I... Need, need to. Here. I need you to sit on my lap." Jerry asked of his daughter, his face revealing a rather confused expression, but he was sure of what he needed to do.
~~~~
Alexis was now officially confused about this entire ordeal and worried about what happened to her father. Even though they nearly got mauled by a horde of zombies, that shouldnt've been enough to get him rambling about when he's dead.
"Dad, what the hell happened?!" She asked, this time almost demanding an answer. -
Jake knew he was in deep crap with the guys in the woods, so started walking back to the car. He felt sick. His hair was messy and clothes torn from days before. He coughed and felt weak. He tried to wash the dust from his hands since looking like a orphan child, which they were was not working. He skip now trying to go faster.

(M'kay :3)

Jerry couldn't come to terms in telling his own daughter he was about to die. But it was nearly obvious. A thick substance had clogged his veins near the bite, so much so that the blood vessels looked like colored tubes on top of his skin. "We can't talk about that right now. What I need to do is to teach you how to drive. I know you can... To, to some... To some extent, but... I... Need to teach, you. I need to."
~~~~
Alexis had asked her father several times for the answer to exactly why Jerry was acting so strangely, but it all seemed to be in vain. "Dad... Just, please. Answer my question." Alexis sincerely asked of her father, eyes glazing. -
Jake stumbled to the car and climbed in. He whispered, "Lil-Lilly." .....No answer. He shook her. "Lilly!" He said louder causing her to bounce up.
Lilly looked at Jake sour and full of sleep. "Wha....Jake?" She groaned rubbing her eyes and checking her surroundings. "There's people...Killers in the woods." Jake said hesitating. Lilly glared at the woods. "People?" She questioned. -
Jerry looked at his daughter, eyes visibly watery. "I... Don't want to tell you, ah f--- it..." Jerry answered, exasperated. Leaning forward, he tugged at the bottom of his left leg-socket (or what-ever da hail) of his pants, and reeled them up, revealing a very nasty deep bite-mark. His eyes were dripping tears now.
"I just need you to know how to drive and we're good."
~~~~
Alexis stared at the bite-mark, shocked. Now... She knew she was going to be alone. In this world. Even before the apocalypse it was bad, but now... Zombies and humans every-where, and zombies were likely the kinder ones.
Slowly sliding back in-to her seat, she wanted to cry. She wanted to cry long and hard, but she couldn't. Despite the wave of emotions, her eyes were completely dry. -
"Yes!" Jake snapped. "Ok ok gesh!" Lilly Snarled back. She glared out the window. The night was beautiful. Completely beautiful. She crawled out and stared at Jake. "Stay here with him. We don't know these people or know what they will do." She petted his head and turned. "What happens if you die?" He said with sorrow. "Then get the hell out." Lilly grinned at him.
-
"Well, on-to business." Jerry moved out of his seat and crawled on-to the back seat, waiting for Alexis to take the driver's wheel so he him-self could take over the passenger seat.
~~~~
A small wave of anti-emotion rushed through Alexis. It was small, but enough to make her not want to do any-thing drastic all of a sudden. Shifting to the driver's wheel, she gripped the wheel in front of her and steadied her feet upon the pedals below. With a straight face, she straightened her spine so she could see ahead of her better.
