He returned his, and went to his next class. One he was actually excited about. He had a deep love of the past. At his old school, he had practically taught the class.
-
Rubbing the back of her neck she grabbed her books and headed towards history. Sitting down in the back she sighed and rubbed her head again. "He's such a prick.." She breathed under her breath.
-
Once the class began and he got the topic, Michael went on a roll, correcting the teacher, adding facts and information, and making simple analogies for the class to better understand.
-
Ally listened and watch the new kid who she found his name, Michael, take over the class. She shook her head and sat back as she watched him from behind.
-
He finally concluded with: "history is my strong point, and if anybody has any questions, feel free to ask me."
-
The teacher started to assign partners for a group project to build a model and give a report on an era. Ally looked up front when her name was called. "Ally you'll be with... Michael." The teacher nodded and Ally huffed, narrowing her eyes.
-
He looked around, gauging the reactions and determining who Ally was. His initial thought was that he'd have to carry the weight of the assignment, again. But he gave her benefit of the doubt.
-
She sat back and raised a eyebrow at him. "I say we do Ancient Egypt or Greeks." She crossed her arms over her chest and dared him to say other whys.
-
"Greece," he agreed. "Alexander the Great, the Spartans, all their acheivements." Instead of bowing to her threatening tone, he genuinely wanted to do that.
-
"Then we can agree on something." She opened her book and bent over it, a loose strand of blonde hair falling into her face. "I'm open tomorrow night to work on this if you want to get it done quickly." Looks up at him.
-
"Sounds good, I'll work on typing up a paper," he said, looking at her. "Are you good with doing the model building? I'm terrible at art."
-
"Yeah I can do that if you can do the paper." She sighed and looked through the book. "I'll figure it out."
-
"Easily," he mumbled, reading hers upside down.
-
She looked at the time and started to gather her stuff. She tucked the strand of hair behind her ear and looked out the window.
-
He looked at his watch, and sighed. "Are there any good trails here, going up the mountain?"
