He sighed at the sight of her fading smile. "I..I apologize. I just don't like being surprised is all. When you're a monster that every tries to kill, surprises aren't a fun thing.." He extended a hand out to help her up.

She took his hand and stood. "I'm sorry, I'll keep that in mind."

"It's not your fault..I should've told you earlier." Zander held her hand for a moment then quickly let go. "Shall we get going, or is there more you'd like to know?"

"I think I'm fine for today." She wiped the dust off of her pants and walked back to the car.

"Alright." He made sure she was alright and got in the passenger side.

She got in on the driver side and started the car. "Day three."

"Night three.." He mumbled and went to his usual leaning position.

She rolled her eyes, then grinned. "The third time we've traveled while we we're awake."

"Yes. Longer but better." He smiled and watched the stars from out the window.

She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. From what she remembered, she really enjoyed the cuddling from the previous night. Borderline Stockholm Syndrome, great.

Zander sucked in his lips, thinking back to the morning as well. Anna seemed so at peace when she was curled up against him and not to mention absolutely adorable. He groaned quietly and shut his eyes.

I mean that's why he's so desperate to get Kayle back right? She's just more sympathetic about poor baby brother instead of gay lover
"Do you want to know about dreams or nightmares?" she asked. "Or are we talking about ambitions and aspirations?" -

"Ambitions and aspirations. What are your goals in life?"
