He tensed slightly. He was feeling nervous again but didn't move her because she seemed at ease and peaceful. "God, Anna..." He mumbled to himself.

She didn't hear him and continued to sleep.

He had his arms placed loosely around her, but he was starting to worry that she would freeze. He tucked blanket under her and sure she was keeping some of her body heat. Zander lay like that until he could tell that it was getting darker out.

She peeked out of the blanket. "I think it's okay to get up now, Zander..." -

He blinked a few times at her and cautiously stuck his hand out. He waited for the burn, but felt nothing, so he carefully sat up and stretched. -

"It's not that. Sometimes the light lingers, so I have to know exactly when to come out of the darkness."
