"That's kind of creepy, really..." She frowned a bit.

"That's how it is with heightened senses. No one can deceive you very easily."

"Hm. Hey, do you mind if I stop, get something to eat to go, then drive until there's somewhere where we can both get something to eat?" Hunting didn't really seem like the way to describe what she imagined he would do.

"Sure, since you need to feed yourself at some point, but as for me..." He looked at her with a smirk and winked. "I could just take a bite out of you."

"I know you wouldn't, though." She was pretty sure, but at the same time, the idea made her a little nervous... She wondered if he could tell. She thought she was doing a pretty good job of hiding it.

He smirked and peeked up at her. "Sure you aren't. Your heart rate isn't super fast, but its beats are irregular."

Yis. I know a few people with irregular heart beats. Mine is unnaturally fast..
"Just calm down. I'm not going to do anything to you when you're trying to help me get my only family member back. Then we'll probably never have to see each other again.." -
My mom. She's been to the hospital at least three times for it
She nodded. "Unless I do end up hunting, which I probably won't." -
I sorry for your mom. ;3; Sounds like a pain..
"You humans take guns and bows to things like deer and turkey, even squirrels sometimes." Zander stuck his tongue out in disgust. "I hate squirrel and rabbit. They're too soft when I bite into them. But deer...nice and firm muscle, maybe a little tough too."
