"Why don't you stay out of this?" The man scowled at Lucca, then turned back to Loralei.
"You're going to return what you stole, and you're going to do it now." He kept hold of her arm tightly, glaring.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." She lied, not looking at him.

Fay continued to play her flute. A couple of parents with children stopped to listen. A little girl walked over and sat beside Fay. Fay smiled and continued playing. It was nice to relax, to take a break from the tiring town that they were stopped in.

He growled and pointed the weapon at his throat, holding steady. "I don't usually kill without a good reason, but you'll force my hand if you don't let her go now." His eyes narrowed slightly as he eased the young manakete over to his protection. He quickly glanced at her then back at the man. "Whatever she may have taken, I will compensate for it. But don't you dare touch her or follow our party again.."

Lilan narrowed her eyes and tilted her head as she the crowd grow. This always irritated her. People. Rolling her shoulders slightly the Fay continued walking around. Soon she found herself infront of a Libary and smiled walking inside.
The smell of books filled her nose and she relaxed a great deal. -

Avril shook her head and laughed lightly. She turned with a smile, but the expression dropped as soon as she spotted a scene nearby. A large man was glaring murderously at a young girl. There was a warrior there, he seemed to be handlin it, but still... Avril growled under her breath and fingered her knife handle in her belt. She had a soft spot for children, and didn't tolerate anything like what the angry was doing. -
The man, being more a coward than anything, glared and backed up.
"I don't need compensation. Just keep an eye on that brat." He sneered.
Loralei huffed, glaring up at the man. -

Fay blew the last note in her song. Then she opened her bag to put the flute away. She noticed a book. Not one of the ones that she wanted. She got up and ran towards the library again, slipping through the doors. Fay quickly explained to the Librarian what happened. The Librarian took the book and told Fay to go find the book she wanted.
Fay thanked her and walked to a bookshelf, trying to locate the Hymnal she had before. -
"Of course. I'll keep a better eye on her. Now, make like eggs and beat it." Lucca still keep the young manakete at his side, protecting her from harm. Even though she could turn into a giant dragon, they didn't need all of that attention right now. Slave-traders would be after Loralei in a heartbeat.

i hear a sudden commotion as i mount my horse. looking back, i find a kid and a warrior and a strangler side by side. i stop to look at the skirmish. the warrior was doing fine so far, but i watched just in cade sudden danger appeared.

Lilian looked up at someone looking frantic. "Need help?" She asked happily. Her wings fluttered slightly under her cloak making it billow like in a breeze. But there wasn't any breeze in the Libary. A small smile played on her lips as she waited for a reply.
