"Okay," she said, grinning. "Sounds fun."

He smiled lightly. "Go to the table, I'll make something quickly."

She went and sat at one of the chairs, waiting.

He went quickly to the kitchen and looked around. He smiled lightly and started cooking. It wouldn't take long.

She waited patiently.

He finally got it done and walked out with two plates covered. He placed one in front of her. "Here you go." He removed the cover and a well done steak with mashed potatoes was on it. He smiled.

She smiled back. "It looks good."

"Try it. I used the best spices for it." He sat down next to her and opened his plate with the same kind of steak.

She took a few bites. "Tastes good, too. You're a good cook."

He laughed lightly and started to eat his. "Of course I'm a great cook."

I READ CORK AGAIN
This would be the first meal she'd finish at the castle. -
Wha...?
He was half way finished with his when he stopped. He looked over at her. "Geez Jessa." He chuckled. -
WAS THAT SOMEONE ELSE? THAT WAS SOMEONE ELSE.
She shrugged. "Told you I was hungry." -
*confused*
He chuckled lightly. "It's alright." -
CORK LIFE.
She leaned back, forgetting her manners due to satisfaction.
