"I... um... I saw your castle and I thought that perhaps I could stay the night? I'm traveling alone and, well, it's not safe for a lady to do that at night. I would do anything I could to repay you, sir..." She was incredibly skilled at this sheepish act.

He sighed lightly. "Fine. You can stay for a night. Don't try and repay me because you can't." He waved at her. "Follow me."

"May I... may I bring my horse into your stables?" she asked.

He sighed again, sounding already annoyed with the girl. "Yes, you can put your horse in the stables."

"Thank you very much, sir. I don't know how I'll be able to repay you, but I know I will." She headed back toward the gates. "Um... will you help me open them?"

He nodded lightly and walked to the gate. He waved his hand and the gate opened magically.

"... How did you do that?" she asked, wide-eyed. This... wasn't part of the act. She'd heard that her next target would be difficult and a little special, but she hadn't expected magic.

He chuckled lightly and glanced at her. "That's a secret girl." He started to walk toward the stables. -
We're all Jack Frost.
She ran to get her stallion and followed after him. -
(true enough but I'd get along with him alot more. :P)
He quickly got to the stables and opened on of the areas. "here. Your horse will be nice and cozy here." -
I just want his staff.
"Thank you," she muttered, leading the horse in and setting the saddle bags on the ground. "Good night, Iscariot," she murmured, patting the horse and leaving with the bags. -
(Ah. His staff is pretty cool. Freezing crap is awesome.)
He started walking. "Come on. It's going to get cold soon. It would be smart if you followed me." -
You don't know which staff I was referring to. ;D
"I will. Again, thank you very much." She followed behind him. -
(*snorts* nice Selena.)
He nodded and kept walking the doors to the castle were huge. He snapped his fingers and they swung open.
