One of the swirls started to help her with the books at the top. The books swirled inside it and landed in three small spots on the table.

"I see why he made you. You're helpful." And a little weird.

The swirl nodded and a girl's face appeared with a smile on her face.

Jessamine smiled weakly and continued sorting the books.

The swirl kept helping, it even started to alphabetize them when it swirled them around.

"You're not going to tell him that you did a lot of this, will you?"

It shook it's head no and carried a few books away to the shelves.

"Thanks!" she called after it.

It placed the books back on the shelf and came back again to help. Soon the sun was starting to rise up higher in the sky.

She grabbed the last three books, shelving them all with ease. "Great, we're done." She held out a hand to high-five the wisp, but realize it didn't have hands.

The swirl nodded and disappeared quickly. He soon walked into the room wearing another fancy black suit and smiled. "Seem you got done quick."

"I'm a fast worker." She climbed down from the rolling ladder connected to the ceiling.

"Well that's good. None of the swirls helped you?"

"I wasn't tall enough to reach the tops of each stack," she explained. The scar crossing her cheek was definitely more visible in the light streaming through the windows than it had been the previous night.

He blinked lightly and walked closer to her. "Where did you get that scar at?" He held her chin in place and looked at it closely.
