She shifted with the rest smoothly and easily, keeping pace.
-
The other human and wolves back up to allow them room. Jaxon strained himself not to fully go into battle mode and instead pinned the wolf with jaws around her neck and paws pressed into her gut. She whinned and licked his chin in surrender. He let her up and the others went back to work.
-
They finished the run. Flight stayed in the middle, blending in as much as possible. She shifted once more and trotted over with the rest of her group to fight.
-
Jaxon and his group shifted humans a they traded to go run. Huffing just slightly he started his run.
-
She felt someone buffet her, slamming her into the ground. With a low growl, she rolled to her feet and took in her assailant.
-
Jaxon took in his other pack mates as he ran to se where they fit. The quicker runs that went longer before slowing down where the hunters. The quick ones that started to slow was more the warriors.
-
Another slam. He was trying to use his weight against her. She growled again and darted away.
(Gtg) -
Bye happy New Years!)
They hit the second mile and they all shifted with a ripple as one. You could tell they belong as a family. -
The other wolf turned bright blue eyes on her, twinkling slightly with amusement. She growled, baring her teeth at him, but a prickle of uneasiness trailed up her spine. She didn't fight this way. She moved quickly and without warning, not face-to-face, no matter how cowardice that sounded. It had gotten her out a lot of scrapes that would have had her killed otherwise. The other wolf leapt at her, and she dodged, nipping at his neck but not able to hold the grip as he rolled away.
-
When they returned from the run they joined the practice fighting. Jaxon stayed in his human form to watch the new recruit, Flight, practice. It was obvious she wasn't used to a pack or how they trained. After a moment he grabbed a wooden shaft. It was thin yet hard with a black grip in the middle of it. Also just a little bit taller then him and he started to practice against another who had a wooden blade instead.
-
Flight kept having to stop herself from shifting and taking him out. It was how she usually worked, using both her wolf and human form. Instead, she circled the other wolf, trying to take in his weaknesses. He was favoring his left front leg ever-so-slightly, probably from a previous fight. Most wouldn't have noticed it, but Flight did. He attacked once more before she could make a move, slamming her into another wolf. She felt her hackles raise as she dodged away, this time making a move on the other wolf. She sank her teeth into the leg he was favoring, and he let out a yelp of pain.
-
Jaxon dodged a flying arm and twisted around to slam the staff into the back of his legs making him crippled before shoving his foot into the nod back making him sprawl into the dirt. Laughing he helped his friend up.
-
Flight didn't let go until he whipped head around and grabbed the scruff of her neck, jerking her off and tossing her onto the ground. She darted to her feet and moved faster than he could register, grabbing his neck and holding the grip until he lowered his ears and eyes submissively.
-
Jaxon and his friend went back to back as they started to fight others around them in a circle. Anyone who dared enter would end up on the ground.
-
Flight pulled away. She knew that defeating the other wolf had gained her a bit more respect. She slipped away as more wolves started to fight, loping over to a ring of wolves watching two others. She joined the crowd and saw Jaxon and another, unknown wolf.
