Flight stood once more and padded closer, her senses alert as she struggled to stay hidden and yet keep her attention on the wolves at the same time.
"Says the man who always fed him the leftovers." Silver answered, stepping away from Zayn and scooping one of the puppies up, chuckling softly as it burrowed into her arms. -
The white wolf pulled out a struggling child who had a crown of red curls and big scared green eyes. Jaxon nodded and lifted his tail. As one, the group of wolves attacked the camp while the white wolf took the child to the top of the dune. The wolves didn't kill anyone, just simple knocked them out and tattered the supplies to make a point. It was all over quickly and they all moved again like a river of shadows to the top of the dune. Jaxon looked back with a frown.
Zayn rolled his eyes. "But I didn't spoil him with bones and try to put dress up clothes on him." He sat down and cuddled a brown fat puppy who yawned sleepily.
Vivian laughed. "Like the time me and Flight had a fashion show?" She grinned and the puppies started to fall asleep in her lap. -
Flight watched it all, eyes narrowed slightly. She barely managed to duck into the sand when the Alpha looked back, pressing herself flat. She really had to be more careful.
Silver snorted. "I don't know what you're talking about." She said, cuddling the puppy, her eyes twinkling. She plopped the puppy in Zayn's arms and reached for two more.
Fay climbed down a ladder on the building and started to walk home, her hands tucked into her pockets.
(Lol did you mean Fay?) -
Yeah lol.)
The pack took the back roads and headed towards the hotel they currently called home. Once inside they all shifted back and Lilian, the white wolf, took the girl to the third floor where other were-lings where. Jaxon headed towards his room of the fourth floor.
Zayn chuckled. "Are you staying? It's getting dark." Vivian nodded slowly. "Yes. I don't want to be caught." Zayn nodded and stood up and careful set the puppies down. -
(I don't know if I'll be on tomorrow. I won't be on Monday. I'm going to my grandmother's house and there's no Wi-Fi and she won't give me the password. I'll be back on Tuesday, but we're hosting a New Year's Eve party so it's iffy whether I'll be on or not then. In case I'm not on tomorrow~
Bye. ^-^)
Flight followed silently. Once they reached the hotel, she made her move, heading tentatively to the door and knocking on it.
Silver smiled at her daughter, but her eyes were sad. She hated the restrictions that came with the humans knowing their existence. "Where's Fay?" -
Bye!)
A gruff looking teenager with his hair in a green Mohawk and dark blue eyes opens the door. "What?" He snapped with a twitch of his lips into a silent snarl.
Vivian shrugged. "Not sure." She sighed softly yawning. "Nothing new around town. Well.. A werewolf pack. I've been helping them." Shrugs. -
She met his eyes calmly, meeting him as an equal, unsure of his rank. "This is a werewolf pack?" Flight asked, already aware of the answer.
Silver sighed, still holding the puppies. "Remember Lara?" She asked Zayn. The young werewolf had disappeared one day shortly before Vivian was born and never reappeared. -
Zayn nodded slowly. "I wounder if we will ever see her.." He sighed and closed his eyes as memories washed over him.
(What if Lara is Jaxons mom?)
The boys eyes flashed and he leaned back to whisper to someone unseen. He looked the girl up and down as he evaluated her. "Maybe so.. You ain't working for them are you?" He asked with narrowed eyes.
Welcome back!!) -
(Sorry for dying. GTQ stopped working for a few hours.)
Silver gently places the puppies back down and sighed, leaning into Zayn. "Mhm." She'd tried hard to contact and track Lara, but no trace was left.
(Ooh, yes!)
She swept her eyes behind him, trying to spot whoever he'd been conversing with. "Of course not." She answered, allowing a small wave of indignation to roll off of her, hoping he would accept this as a definite 'no.'
(Thanks. Love the pic, by the way.) -
Zayn yawned and stood up with Silver in his arms. "Come. It's getting late. Will you be here in the morning?" Vivan nodded, "of course. Goodnight you two. Love you." Zayn nodded, "goodnight love you too." He started to head towards their room leaving the puppies behind.
The boy nodded. "Ou! Fresh meat!" He whooped opening to door for her. "Follow along pup." He rumbled as other werewolves eyed her as she passed. A few lifted their lips back from their teeth in a silent human snarl at her.
(Yours did too? God I was kinda frustrated lol. No problem and thank you.) -
"Night." Silver told Vivian and the puppies and followed Zayn, running a hand through her hair.
Flight felt her shoulders come defensively, as if she could shield herself from the glares, but she forced them to stay as squared as possible. She didn't loom at the other werewolves, but didn't cower from them either. -
Vivian sighed and laid on the couch and placed all the puppies over her. Closing her eyes she started to drift off to sleep lulled by the warmth and smell of home.
The mohawk kid led her up the steps. "Well if you end up sticking around, I'm Broc but almost everybody calls me Goo." He shrugged a lean but muscled shoulder. "Everyone here likes to use new names instea the ones our parents gave us. Or we go by nick names." They were on the third floor and heading to the fourth. -
Fay slipped into the house that belonged to her parents, eyes piercing the darkness and quickly finding Vivian. "Hey." She said in a soft voice.
"Does everyone change their name?" Flight asked. She didn't know what else she'd call herself. The things that came to her mind were things like b---- and coward. -
Vivan sat up and made room for her sister. "Hey." She said quietly with gleaming eyes. "Mom and Dad just went to sleep." She sighed and pulled a female puppy into her arms.
Goo shrugged. "Not always.. It's.. Rare." He walked down the hall and to a door that had a few long and deep claw gashes in them. "Alphas kept his.." He knocked on the door and stood back. -
Fay also leaned down to grab a puppy, gently pushing its mouth away as it nipped at her.
Flight frowned. If she retained her name, she'd likely be viewed as trying to impersonate the Alpha and others would think she was trying to be like him. That wasn't a bad thing, but she wanted to appear dependant on herself. And she didn't want anyone to think she was copying the Alpha. With a sigh, she waited for the door to open.
