Vivian yawned. "What took you so long Fay-Fay?" She asked, using an old childhood nickname.
Jaxon swung the door open and peered at the two people infront of him. He narrowed his yellow wolf eyes. "Who's this?" Goo sighed. "She came knocking on our door. She's a wolf all right." Jaxon turned his eyes on her, "And you are?" His tone was chilly. -
Fay rolled her eyes. "Flying. And then I walked home."
Flight didn't meet his eyes, although she wanted to. "My name is Flight." She said in a calm voice. She kept her emotions in check; making sure that they didn't sense her nervousness. She was small in both forms, and she knew she'd have to make up for that with other factors. Best to appear ready and smooth. -
Vivian yawned again sleepily. "Mm. Well I'm going to sleep. You can have our room or the other couch."
Jaxon nodded slowly. "Goo, leave. Flight come inside." He stood to the side to let her inside the simple and very neat room. It was a king sized bed with bathroom, kitchen, and a little living room area. He closed the door behind and leaned on it as he watched her. "Your where watching us save a pup." He said simple. -
"Couch." Fay answered. She always preferred sleeping on couches, for some unknown reason.
Flight stiffened and her eyes darted up to his. That was dangerous. She should have been more careful, noticed that he had noticed. "...Yes." She replied. No point in denying it now. -
Vivan nodded and cuddled up with the fat brown and black puppy. "Goodnight sis." She said into the gloom and fell asleep.
Jaxon nodded slowly. "I'm assuming your a loner looking for a pack.. Saw us and watched how we worked to see if we could fit you and then knocked on our door after following us. Not bad pup, but next time try to stay more hidden." He said softly but his eyes lit with slight humor. -
Flight nodded slowly. "Yeah." She confirmed, moving her eyes back. She was still cursing herself. She'd done better. The fact that he had known of her presence could lower his opinion of her. She waited for his next words.
-
He scratched his slight five o'clock shadow that marked his face. "Hm. Well you can stay. But, your not officially in yet. You have to earn the others respect not just mine." He pushed himself away from the door and opens it for her. "Goo is on the third floor. Find him and he will give you your room." He sighed softly. "Training starts tomorrow."
-
Flight gave him a nod and stepped past him, a prickle of apprehension running up her spine. Earn the other's respect? Easier said than done. She had a way of sticking out while at the same time blending in. In other words, those that she tried to shield herself from always sought her out and the ones she needed to be noticed by skipped right over her. With a small huff, she followed Goo's scent and found him where Jaxon had said he'd be.
-
Goo puffed out his chest slightly. "Come on. I have a room for you." He led her down the hall way and opened up a door with two beds, a closet, and kitchen. "Meet Cammi." He nodded towards a dark skinned girl with black hair and hazel eyes. "If you didn't make it you wouldn't even had been sent to me." He said quietly before leaving the girls.
-
Flight nodded at Cammi, and then took in the room, a bit reassured by Goo's words. She quickly noted all escape routes and possible weapons. She wanted to check out the kitchen and closet, but sweeping right past Cammi probably wouldn't be a good way to earn her respect.
-
Cammi lifted a thick brown eyebrow. "Welcome room mate." She mused. "I'm one of the nicest ones you'll meet here. Everyone's got a story and no one wants to share. Get it? You'll lean the ropes." She chuckled with warm eyes.
-
She nodded, allowing herself a slight smile. "Got it." The other girl was genuine, Flight knew that. She relaxed a bit. "The Alpha mentioned training. What kind of training?"
-
(Happy 2014! (It's already 2014 here and i will probably be asleep when it is for you!))
-
The she-wolf set down her book she was reading. "It always differs. Probably be easy due to our success tonight." She smiled lightly. "Jaxon is a good guy.. He just is a distant wolf but knows how to rule."
-
(Thanks, you too.)
Flight's stomach grumbled, and she took the opportunity to head to the kitchen, still maintaining the conversation. "He seemed like it. How long has he been Alpha?"
