"What are you thinking about?" Flight asked. No one had comforted her like this for as long as she could remember. Her old boyfriend...definitely not him. She was surprised at how good it felt.
Fay let out a yelp of indignation and wiped sand off of her eyes. Darting down, she dipped her wings in the water and flung salty droplets onto her sister. -
He shrugged. "How my world has been turned upside down lately. But in a good way." He smiled and wasn't sure if she could see it but that didn't matter to him. He yawned quietly to shake away his sleepiness.
Vivian spat and stepped in the water. "Hm.." She grinned and let her wings touch the water then she lifted them up and flapped quickly to send a lot of salty water at he sister. -
Flight nodded against him. "Yeah. Mine has too." She felt warm and happy as she rolled her eyes up to the ceiling, which had marks and burn gashes in it.
Fay dodged with a victorious cry and dove under the water, not caring about her now sopping-wet clothes and wings. With two powerful flaps, she sprayed water from her drenched feathers. -
Jaxon chewed on his bottom lip before dismissing the idea and instead just watched her. She was beautiful, new, and understood him. He smiled softly.
Vivian squealed and dive into the water kicking her feet and splashing her sister with the water. She came up and was laughing. -
Flight looked up at him. "What?" She asked, somehow knowing he had been considering something.
Fay pulled her wings in front of her to shield herself, even if she was already sopping wet. With a yelp, she dived under the water again. -
Jaxon looked down and was slightly startled to find them almost nose to nose. "Just thinking." He mused meeting her eyes with his own.
Vivian laughed and sat down on the shore and started to build a sand castle. Grinning she added a moat and made it tall. -
Flight flushed slightly, turning away. "About what?" She asked softly, suddenly aware of how close they were; how his breath blew gently on her face.
Fay threw her head back out of the water, clambering back onto the shore, shaking her wings out. -
"Everything." He shrugged and leaned his head back. He yawned and loosened up his grib on her.
Vivian chuckled and let the sun warm up her feathers while playing with the sand. -
Flight carefully rolled off of him, positioning her body right besides his. "Thanks." She said again.
Fay followed her sister's lead, flopping onto the sand. "We should go visit Jaxon and Lara later." She remarked lazily. -
"Anytime." He said quietly feeling her warmth pull away from his chest and move to his side. He watched her for a moment before shifting hi gaze out towards the window.
Vivian shrugged and yawned. "Maybe." Moshe made a sand ball and lightly tossed it into her sisters lap where it exploded. She giggled and went back to her sand castle. -
Flight turned her eyes to the ceiling once more. Something stirred inside her, as if she should know it but not quite. She frowned, glaring at the scars on the ceiling.
Fay picked up the remains of the sand ball and dusted it onto Vivian's hair. "Ha!" -
"I feel like we should do something but I don't want too." He mused making imaginary pictures on the blanket.
Vivian glared at her sister and grabbed a handful of sand and patted into her sisters long hair. "Nice weave." She grinned an scrambled away. -
Flight nodded distractedly. "Yeah. Imagine the gossip when the werewolves see me walk out of your room."
Fay let out an indignant yelp and shook the sand out, balling a fistful of the stuff in one hand and throwing it at Vivian as hard as she could. -
He laughed, "it's not that. And, they know me better then that." He shrugged. "It just I don't want to move." Looks at her lazily.
Vivian growled and did the same thing she did back to her sister. She was slightly irritated now. -
"Mhm." She responded quietly, rolling over slightly to look at him back.
Fay grinned wickedly and tossed another handful of sand at Vivian, shielding herself with her wings as she did so.
