Flight shivered, tracing lines over his skin. He was so...amazing. Not perfect, but even his flaws were wonderful.
Fay shook her head. "If there's something going on, we should check."
Derrick's eyes glowed as he watched the two half-angels. They were worth a lot. He smiled cruelly, waiting. He could just imagine having them in his grasp. He signalled the rest of the pack to stay down until they went in.
(I'm thinking that Flight's old pack has basically surrounded the place, and when Fay and Viv go in they attack and kidnap them and stuff.) -
Mkay.)
Jaxon nuzzled her neck and suddenly went tence. He lifted his head and looked around the room like a wolf with perked ears. Something felt wrong.
Vivian nodded and walked inside, she didnt need to knock. Goo had all the little kids in a circle and was teaching them about math. "Hey girls." He called and the kids waved at them happily. -
Flight paused, fear racing through her. Instinct from experience told her he had stopped because he was mad, or upset at her. Because she wasn't good enough. And then she saw his alertness, his wariness. Something was wrong. "What is it?" She asked, pulling her arms back.
Fay waved with a small smile, nodding at Goo.
Derrick moved fast. His thickly muscles wolf body was after the two half-angels in a second, and then he had shifted and had a knife at Vivian's throat in a single, smooth movement. The rest of his pack filed in behind him, pointing various weapons at the kids, stopping Goo or Fay from attacking as they threatened Vivian and the young werewolves. -
Jaxon growled, a deep menacing sound that any human would never have been able to. He gentle pushed her away and crept to the door. "Someone's here." He said and ran out the door. He moved quickly and silently.
Vivian swallowed hard against the knife. A flicker of a a sarcastic smile flashed across her lips. "You know, I always imagined someone holding me but not with a knife.. Kinky." She only did this to hide her own fear.
Goo growled low in his throat and pushed the kids behind him. Cammi then walked in and took he place next to Goo. Her dark eyes narrowed into slits. -
Flight followed, moving as lightly as he did. But her body froze when she heard Derrick's voice. Oh God, not here.
Derrick chuckled, allowing the knife to produce a sliver of blood. "Sassy, aren't you?" He made a small gesture and one of his pack stepped forward. In a smooth movement, he had shot at Goo's leg.
Fay felt fear race up her spine as she saw her sister's blood form on the edge of the knife. And then the sound of the gun filled the room. -
Jaxon fell silent at the sound of the gun and his heart sank. He moved down to a spot where he could see the entire room but no one would be able to see him. Goo fell to his knees without a sound a blood gushed from his wound. Pain, clear as day in his eyes. Behind them the children screamed and whimpered. Jaxon headed towards the room behind them, to get the kids out first.
Vivian licked her lips slightly. Her blood was slowly trickling but soon stopped. "What do you want?" She asked without taking her eyes off the kids and her sister. -
Flight forced her muscles to work, forced herself after him. She could feel her hand clench and unclench as she struggled with the conflicting emotions.
Derrick chuckled, baring his canine teeth at them. "Oh, I originally came to say hello to an old friend. Flight. But two half-angels are so terribly tempting."
Fay narrowed her eyes, trying to ignore the waves of pain coming off of Goo. "It's not very smart to mess with us." She growled. -
Jaxon crouched behind a door and slowly opened it. Kids. He said quietly to them and them only. Slowly they started to shift backwards and into the room Jaxon was in.
Vivian growled low. "Good to know that you like us." She was slowly reaching into her pockets for a knife she always kept there. -
Derrick's eyes darted to the kids creeping out. "Unless you want the other one to be shot," he gestured at Cammi, "All of you will stop, and whoever's leading them out will show yourself."
Flight shivered and froze again, looking to Jaxon.
Fay watches Derrick with narrowed eyes, hating him but unable to do much. -
*Watched

Jaxon got what few kids he could out and then stood up. He walked out infront of Cammi and Goo. "That would be me. Because I have a little bit more sense on saving kids instead of hurting them." He narrowed his eyes. Goo, had pulled out the bullet and it was healed.
Vivian rumbled and gripped the knife in sweaty hands. She tried to calm her beating heart. -
Flight hesitated for a split second before filing out behind Jaxon. She felt Derrick's eyes on her, felt his cruel smile.
Derrick chuckled lightly, and then in a quick movement he had grabbed the arm Vivian was using to grab the knife and twisted it up quickly. "I've said it before, I won't say it again: no one make another move." -
Vivian cried out softly as the blade dropped. Her wings were in a painful positon.
Jaxon didn't move. His eyes flashed an angry gold. "What do you want pup?" He rumbled. -
Derrick's eyes flashed back; Alpha against Alpha. "Half-angels are valuable." He made a gesture to one of his pack, who stepped forward and roughly grabbed Fay.
Flight wanted to kill him. To make him suffer. At the same time, she wanted to run. She watched Derrick like a hunted animal, although he didn't look back her way. -
"So.." Jaxon said slowly, not breaking the staring. "Why not deal with this like real alphas?" Tilt head slightly.
Vivian sat, silent. She couldn't do anything.
