(I feel like it's a cheesy sob story. cx Oh well.)
Lara stepped forward and gently cupped his face in her palm. He was taller than her, and she had to look up to see him. "How old are you?" She asked softly. -
He flinched slightly at her touched but relaxed. "Eighteen." He said softly. He looked down at her and watched her silently.

Lara stared at him for a moment. "I'm sorry." She said in a breath, the words soft and full of pain.

Suddenly he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her close to him. He suddenly felt silent tracks of tears slip down his cheeks. He hadn't cried in years..

Lara gently hugged him back, rubbing his back instinctively. Tears formed in her eyes as well as she pulled him close.

"Mom.." He whispered. He pulled away an rubbed his face. "Come live with us. With my pack. Please." He said softly.

Lara hesitated for a moment. "You're the Alpha, aren't you?" She asked, a small smile flitting over her lips as she realized it.

He nodded slowly. "Yeah. Since I was fifteen." He smile shyly at her like a little kid who just did something great but didn't want to be to full of himself.

She grinned. "I only wish I could have been there to see it."

"Will you?" Looks at her with a lighter heart then what he had. He still didn't trust her fully but it was a start wasn't it?

Lara nodded haltingly. "Yeah. I think I will." She felt a shiver go up her spine.

"Thank you." He said quietly and hugged her again before pulling away. Vivian ran out and tackled hugged her wolf friend. "God, I was afraid I might have had to pull you two apart but guess not." She grinne and pulled away.

Lara blinked at Vivian, looking mildly pissed. "You were listening? Do you know what privacy is, kid?"

Vivian rolled her eyes. "You know, I brought him here." She narrowed her eyes. "If I told you the truth you never would have agreed or taken off." Jaxon shrugged like what are you going to do about it?
(I just knocked my sisters tooth out ) -
Lara looked as if she might blow up then. Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself. "Where's the pack?" She asked Jaxon.
(Probably not the right reaction, but I find that extremely amusing. How?)
