He blinked slowly and winced at the gun shots. "But....I want to protect you." He knew she was going to tell him to go up the tree again, so he went up the nearest tree.

She looked up at him, "Stay there. No matter what happens, stay there".
A group of people approached, about 5 or 6, all wearing the same cloak as her. One with a long sword took a few steps towards her, "So, has he been silenced?". -
He stayed up their and stayed quiet. His ears twitched as he listened.

Aria shook her head, "No..he's still alive", the cloaked man frowned, "Alive? Aria its been 4 days, your usually faster than this..and we've already scheduled the boat to leave, we're all going tonight". She shrugged, "You can go without me", she soon regretted saying those words as the man held the sword to her throat, he growled, "You signed the oath. Where we go, you come with".

He growled lowly and his tail twitched angrily.

She took a few steps backwards, her back hit against the trunk of the tree, "I'm not going...I have business here". One of the older members laughed, "Oh look, your smitten for someone! Yes? That's why your staying, haha so silly", she blushed lightly and shook her head, the man pressed the blade harder against her skin, drawing a little blood, "Is this true?".
"N-no, not at all". -
Kain trembled with anger and his eyes flashed red as he growled angrily.

He pulled the sword away, in a quick movement leaving a thin gash trailing down her and along her collar bone. "Then you should have no problem coming with, and if you do stay we will have no choice but to call the elders and blame that mutt the cameras caught you 'interacting' with".

That was enough for Kain. He had to intervene now, they were blackmailing her to go. No one would ever do that again. He snarled lowly and waited for the right moment.

Her eyes narrowed, "You wouldn't", the man chuckled darkly, and took a few steps closer towards her, "You know I would, its my job to keep you young ones in line and that's what I'll do, I'll kill that mutt. What do you think? Shall we keep his pelt? Or make a coat?".

He twitched at the word kill. He didn't really want to die of course.

She sighed, "No...no, I-I'll come with, just give me a few minutes". And with that, the cloaked group left her.

He jumped down and gave her a sad look. "Red..."
(Sorry! Had to save my dogs from the cold!!) -
She didn't meet his eye, instead she continued to stare at the ground, she mumbled softly, "Go...leave me. Go before they find you".
(Oh shame! What happened?) -
He shook his head. "I'm not leaving you Red. I won't." He hugged her tightly.
