He started to shake lightly. "I thought I told you to leave me...to forget about me..." His ears and tail were flat, neither were moving.

She held onto him tightly and shook her head, "Its impossible for me to do that".

He turned and hugged her tightly. "You never listen Red. Not even when you were little you didn't even listen." Tears started streaming down his face.

She gently wiped his tears away, though that didn't stop them from forming in her own eyes, "When I was little..?"

He started to chuckle as more tears spilled from his face. "You don't remember do you? You don't remember a little black puppy you found when you were little?" He remembered it clearly, even up to the day he left.

She smiled and kept wiping, gently stroking his cheeks, "oh don't cry so!", she thought about it for a few moments, "The black puppy who my parents didn't want me to keep? Cause the yellow eyes scared them?".

He growled lowly and nodded lightly. "Yes that puppy you found...it was me..." He nuzzled her cheek.

She hugged him tightly, frowning a little, "Why did you go? Why did you leave me there?".

He sighed lightly. "I thought...you'd be scared of me and get rid of me. I also didn't...want your parents to kill me in front of you...."

She looked up at him, "They were going to kill you?".

He nodded. "Yeah...well they are the ones sending people after me..."

She hugged him tightly and growled protectively, "Well I won't let any of them hurt you, they won't even get close".

He chuckled and hugged her back tightly. "That's what a mate would say..."

She blushed deeply and nuzzled his cheek a little, "Can I be your mate?~".

He purred lightly in her ear. "Of course Ms. Red~" he nuzzled and nipped at her neck.
