He nuzzled her face. "I'm not cute."

She smiled and kissed his nose, "How about adorable?~".

He growled lowly. "Nope."

She scratched his ears and smiled, "Well I think your cute, that's gotta count for something, right?".

He purred lowly and nuzzled her cheek. "I guess."

She smiled and continued to scratch, moving down to his neck, "You guess?".

He purred more and licked her face happily. "Yup."

She chuckled and cuddled him gently, "Now explain to me why they find you scary?".

A low rumble left his throat."Because I'm a wolf. Run before they get to know me."

She ran her fingers through his fur, and continued to cuddle, "Silly cowards".

He started to change back slowly. "Red...would you really leave me...once your mission is over with...?"

She let go and looked away quickly, "Yes..I have no choice".

His ears flattened in his head. "I knew you'd leave..."

She clenched her fists, shaking her head, "I don't want to go..but they'd kill you too if I stayed".

He started to walk off. "Just keep following the path. You'll get there."
