She looked up and frowned, "Kain...?".

"you're gonna leave, so why not now. Just go get your job done and then go home. Forget about me." He sprinted away quickly before he could hear anymore.

She sighed, "I can't forget you..", though he was already too far away to hear her. She picked up her cloak and put it on, once again hiding her face underneath the hood. She already missed his presence..

Kain finally got far enough from her and he landed on the ground on his knees. Tears started streaming down his face. He shouldn't have gotten attached to her...

She trudged along the path, taking slow steps, "Don't cry, damnit. Tears never help", she whispered to herself, though that didn't stop them from falling.

Kain heard something and his ears twitched. He turned and saw a gun pointed at him. His eyes glazed over. The man grinned. "I found you wolf. Where it the girl you were with?" He didn't say anything and the man sighed. "Well seems like you've gone silent. Let's make that way for forever." He placed his finger on the trigger and the gun went off with a loud bang.

She stopped dead in her tracks, a gun shot? "Oh Kain..", she said to herself before sprinting quickly in the direction she saw him go, "Kain!", she called loudly into the forest, "Kain!". -
(didn't kill him. He was smart and moved out of the way. :P)
Kain was smart and he moved quickly, but he got grazed by the bullet. He winced and grabbed his side. the man frowned. "You shouldn't have moved wolf. It would have been quick for you." He growled lowly at the man and snarled loudly. -
(Oh)
Recognising the man who chased him, she did the only thing she could think of: she pounced. Pounced onto the man and slammed him down, before he could react she grabbed the gun out of his hands, "Your not killing my Wolf, not while I'm around". Wait...my wolf? -
(yup. :P)
Kain blinked slowly and saw who it was. "'..R-red...?" He stood up and winced again. She said her wolf...he didn't understand. The man glared and kicked her off. "You b----! That wolf is a monster." He saw her hit a tree. Kain growled and tackled the man. "Don't hurt my mate!" He and the man started rolling. -
She groaned and picked herself up. Did he say mate...?

Kain had his hands on the man's throat and his eyes were a deep red. "I'll kill you for hurting my mate!" The man started choking.

She quickly hugged Kain from behind, sure the man had caused the both of them a great deal of trouble but Kain didn't need to kill him, not for her. "Kain...let go".

Kain blinked and started to let go of the man's throat. The man crawled away and ran quickly, not even grabbing his gun. Kain didn't move.

She didn't let go of Kain, and continued to hug him, "Kain..are you okay?".
