"I was asking the air hoping my mother would answer, not you!" She glared at the odd glowing....wait glowing? "Hey Damien, is it okay for a book to start glowing?"

"Well probably because it's full of demonic energy." He sighed, as if it happened on the daily. Well for him, it was a regular thing in the lab to see.

"How can you be so...oh right the lab you were in." She walked over and grabbed the book, only to drop it again. She fanned her hands in the air.

He walked in and shook his head. His fingers turned bright, like flames but there wasn't any flames. He picked up the book with ease. "Here, summon your fire on a very low status and hold the book."

She shook her head. "I'm done with it." She walked past him and went to her room.

He frowned and set the book on the table where it turned off it's glowing. He followed her and frowned, looking into her room. "What's wrong?"

She waved her hand. "Just...go back to your planning." She looked at her hands.

He crossed his arms over his chest and looked at her. "Don't lie to me." He narrowed his eyes and watched her.

"I said it was nothing..." She glared at her hands. They were burn, second degree burns.

He walked over to her and sighed. "Now.. We can practice healing." He softly took her wrist in both hands. "Calm your mind and think about I don't know.. Healing."

She pulled her wrist away from him. "I-I said I was fine Damien." Her fire started up on her hands. She didn't want to hurt him. That book...

"Just let me help.." He sighed and looked her in the eyes. "Let me help you.."

"Damien..." She didn't look away and sighed. She made the flames disappear and the burns looked worse.

"Why are you so damn stubborn?" He brought up his flames an let them wrap around her hands. When he brought the flame back to him, the burns where healed.

"As I said earlier...I'm meant to be." She looked at her hands and sighed lightly. "Thank you..."
