She laughed lightly. "I can protect myself Damien. Trust me I can, no mutant weird things can stop me."

He sighed and looked at her. "Why are you so stubborn?" He asked with a small smile anyway.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "I'm suppose to be stubborn." She poked his cheeks. "Besides...I want to know what I am."

He sighed. "I can't promise they will give us an answer.. Besides, you don't want to see the dark side of me." He was seriouse while he said this. He had done things he wasn't proud of.

She poked him again. "And I've done some stupid things in my life. We can't take back things we did in the past. And I'll make them give me an answer." She has a determined look on her face.

Damien softly pinched both her cheeks and cooed at her and laughed. "You like so adorable when you're trying to be tough." He mused and lightly kissed her forehead.

She squirmed lightly. "Heey!!! I'm not cute I'm adorable!" She blushed lightly. "I can be intimidating."

"I don't think so cupcake." He patted her head and stood up. He walked towards the kitchen and opened the fridge.

She frowned lightly and sat on the floor quietly. She stood up quickly and ran to her room, then she started rumbling through her closet.

Damien found what he was looking for and started to drink the Gatorade happily.

Mary finally found the book she was looking for and walked back into the kitchen. "Explain this book to me." She placed it on the table and opened it. Strange words were written in it. "My mom left this to me."

He took the book and sat down at the table. "This is in.. Demonic langue." He could read it but he looke at her, asking if it was okay.

She blinked lightly and waved her hand. "Read it. I want to know what it says."

He started to scan the pages. "First of all, your mothers says that if you had found this then something has happened and you've met someone of your own kind.. Hopefully a guy." He chuckled. -
(i have no idea. :P just go with your flow~)
She blushed lightly and rolled her eyes. "Yeah that's my mother for me." She sat next to him.
