The slight breeze grew stronger. Feeling it gently push his wings, his hands reached around her, instinctively pulling her closer and trying to keep her from possibly falling.

She held onto him tightly, good thing he had wings, "If we do end up falling, you won't suddenly forget you have wings, right?".

"If we ended up falling with my wings out like this, they'd catch the air, at least a little." His words died to a whisper as he noticed two birds building a nest. "Look," he breathed in her ear, letting go with one hand to point.

She smiled a little and watched the birds quietly as they flew threw the air, back and forth, each time returning with new materials to add to their little home.

His hand returned to her torso.

She blushed a little, becoming aware of how close they were and the position of his hands, Alice, this is surely how normal friends interact..oh stop concentrating on him, just look at the pretty birds!,

His hold relaxed slightly as the wind died down.

The birds tweeted happily to each other, their little tweets carried into the air as they sang and worked. Alice whispered softly, "I don't know how to whistle".

"Really?" he asked quietly. He whistled one short note to remind himself of the positioning of his tongue and lips, then showed her what to do.

She tried to copy but failed miserably, no sound left her lips. It was as if she were simply blowing.

"Gently push your tongue up against the back of your bottom teeth, and for your lips, like... well... like you're kissing someone."

She blushed a little, yes she was one of those girls who never got around to dating, which means she never got around to kissing anyone, "Urmmm...okay", she tried once again to get the position of everything right, she was pretty close, it was a very soft little whistle.

"You did it," he said with a smile.

She laughed, "Barely".

"Still." He whistled a short tune.
