He smirked. "Of course." He climbed a few branches higher and waited for her.

She climbed quickly and soon reached him, she grinned, "Bet I can climb faster than you, race to the top?".

"You're on. One... Two-three!" He started before he'd finished speaking, climbing as fast as he could.

"Cheat!", she called as she climbed quickly after him, she was catching up pretty quickly and soon found herself right at the same level.

He pushed forward, tucking his wings in as close to his body as possible.

The top of the tree was closer. Almost there.

He reached the top branch and pulled himself upat the same time she did.

She pulled herself up to sit on the branch, "If you didn't cheat I would've won".

"Remember that next time then. I'm a cheater. And it's not cheating if we cheat together." He stood on the branch, balancing himself as much as possible with his wings.

She chuckled, "But next time I'll push you off, okay?".

He offered her a hand. "I can fly, though. So I might reach the top faster."

She took his hand, "Alright Bat Boy~"

He slowly helped her to her feet. "Great view from up here, huh?"

"I actually haven't really looked", she held onto his hand tightly, wobbling a little as she stood and took a real look. It was pretty amazing looking at everything from such a high perspective.
