Thread Topic: Snakes of Emerald Labyrinth

Emerald Labyrinth is basically this ginormous jungle area, but it is so dense that it has defenitely earned its name as "Labyrinth" (the "Emerald" part originates from those dazzling green shades the foliage turns every summer). Many creatures dwell there, but mainly Boas and Pythons. Please tell me your scale shades (patterns are a must), eye color, name (Latin names are all the rage right now for some reason, but it is not required), EM Ability (which you will learn about in the next paragraph), etc. You know the skeleton!
Oh, and something else I might add: Every New Year's Eve, at the stroke of midnight, an incredible green moon appears in the sky. It's called the EM, or Emerald Moon. This moon drives all the snakes crazy, giving them amazing powers until the moon fades. But beware, raging battles are also known to happen on these intense nights...

EM ability: can slither through anything, very ghost-like though not invisible
Other: Beautiful French accent

Scales: a lush orange-red tone, accented in bronze
Eyes: Rippling dark brown
EM Ability: Somehow "bounce" from tree to tree/long distances, can also glide over water
Other: Adopted Pythor as a younger brother, extremely protective of him, will even turn against close friends to make sure no more harm comes to him -

Pythor was dozing lazily in a thick entanglement of vines. His opposite scale shades made his presence obvious, but as long as no hunters were bothering him he didn't care. I'll take on a jaguar, thought Pythor.
Celestine glided throughout Omahabi Canal, one of her favorite places to swim, AND in the whole entire world. It took her back when she and her mother, Bijou, used to swim together and catch unlucky amazon fish in their awaiting jaws and swallow them whole. The she-snake sighed, Also reminiscing every New Year's Eve, when she and Bijou would use their EM Abilities to full extent until the morning sun. Celestine sighed, missing her late mother (who was killed by a raging hawk).
Meanwhile, Anacondai was hunting for he and his adopted brother when he came across a sunset-copper figure. It looked like an abandoned baby howler monkey. Perfect, thought Anacondai, so he lunged-- to find out that shade was from Midna's scales!! He backed away from the irritable python. "Sorry..." -
Midna raised her head in alarm. "Oh, Condai, that's the third time!" She complained. Her large orangey eyes were often mistaken by the other snakes.
Turret and Richa slithered along, watching for prey. -
"True," admitted Anacondai warily, backing away. "I really am so sorry, Midna. It won't happen again."

Midna shook her head, hissing out a chuckle. "Relax," the black snake replied. "It's not EM, I'm not going to grow up and swallow you."

Acondai hissed lightly, amused.

Midna smiled slightly. "But it is nice to see a snake who isn't planning my death...yet."
She has a history of stealing from other snakes. She's also been hired as an assassin, if that makes any sense.) -

Anacondai rolled his glassy eyes. "You know," he stated matter-of-factly, "you really should think about your future. What are you rewarded in-- BERRIES?!!" He slithered around her and before disappearing, he said: "Think about it. Good decisions might just win you a boyfriend..." And with a suppressed laugh, he was off.
"There you are!" cried Pythor impatiently when Anacondai returned with half of a baby tapir. "I was SO bored!"
Celestine sighed, slithering to shore. She rolled in some moss to dry off. -

EM power: she can turn invisible
Other: she's very mysterious, and she knows nothing of her past

Eyes: Brown, so dark, almost black
Scales: a unique dappled pattern, with varying shades of green
EM power: can hypnotize any creature
Other: a huge flirt, cruel
