Celestine giggled along, diving underwater.
Something caught her eye, glinting from the wave patterns in the riverbed. Hey, what's that?? she wondered curiously, slithering downward towards it. -
Richa noticed her friend's absence and followed her down.

"Whoa!" cried Celestine, double-taking. "It's a gem!"
She curled her tail into a cup and scooped up the magnificent find. -
Richa smiled. "Here, bring it to shore!"

"Sure!" bubbled the snake, flicking her tail and sending the gem towards dry land. She slithered up to it, examining the interesting texture and fierce gleam.

Turret slithered over, the shine of the mysterious find had caught his eye. Richa and Turret examined it carefully, taking in every detail of the beautiful treasure. In his distracted state, turret had accidentally slithered himself around Celestine. Hissing embarrassedly, he untangled himself. "Nice gem.."

"Oh! S-sorry," Celestine blushed, also embarrassed. She slowly pulled away from Turret.
Anacondai also slid down a mossy tree into the area. "Ack!" he cried, long body slipping on the moss. He landed right on top of Richa. "Gosh! Very sorry, m'lady," he apologized, sliding off. Then he saw the gem. "Whoa... what's that?" -
Turret stuttered out an apology of his own and grinned, flustered. Richa hissed in surprise but nodded when he apologized. "It's a gem that Celestine found." Midna watched silently from the shadows. The other snakes feared her, so she could not enter the clearing.

Celestine giggled, suddenly forgetting about the gem.
But Anacondai was all over it. "Wow!" he shouted in amazement, examining it closely. "This sure is a beauty." -
Soon Pythor caught up with his quick, older brother. "I'm SO bored," he complained. Then he took a quick glance at Richa. Bouncing (if snakes can even "bounce") over to her, he flirtatiously declared, "What's up??" His slick tongue slightly flicked her face as he said this.

Richa, now startled twice, blushed and straightened up. "What's up with you?" She retorted, hiding her attraction to the playful male snake. He was funny, and his eyes sparkled like the gem...

Pythor rolled his eyes. "I sense you are secretly attracted to me," he joked, sliding over to the gem.

Shaking her head, Richa turned away. "Males.."

Celestine rolled her eyes in response. "I know..."

Richa chuckled along with her friend. Turret playfully poked Celestine with the tip of his tail. "Hey! Some of us are gentlemen."
