Bear's tongue flopped down at the sight of this unknown vixen. The sunlight shone brilliantly down on her plush pelt. Soft as it was, the sandy scout longed to rub against the fiery fur. But he resisted, settling for stepping into the strange beauty's veiw. "Greetings, vixen."
"...Notia." The luminous vixen replied cautiously. -
"Good, good," he grinned, eyes widening at this vixen's pure beauty. He became lost in her deep, luminous eyes.
"I'm Farfetch. A pleasure to happen upon such a lovely face as yours." He sighed in adoration. -
Rosa lifted her was and slowly opened her eyes to gaze at the male that had walked up to her. "Greetings." She said slowly. Her voice had a tint of a possible Russian accent. "Who might you be?" She asked quietly. Her long banner flickers over the soft grass.
-
"I am Bear, scout of the Emerald Grove Foxes." He answered in a respectful tone, struck again by the she Fox's pure voice. "What name are called, hunt-sister?"
Notia backed away another step. He's tricking you. He'll hurt you. They always have. They always will. -
Farfetch drew himself back as if opposed by the vixen's distrust. "Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to scare you there." Straightening himself, the he-fox slightly tensed, embarrassed.
"I believe I have started you off on the wrong paw. My bad." -
"Come, come, dear," cooed Ladybird, leading her son Fang to their new home: an abandoned bear den near the creek. "We're almost there."
Sluggish, Fang sighed, "Do I HAVE to, Ma?? My paws are aching and I wanna rest!"
Ladybird peered anxiously over her shoulder. Are the wolves still following us...?? "There's no time. We must hurry, dear," she snapped quickly, tugging her pup along. -
Wolves were not tracking the two, at least not as far as Bane could tell. The oldest of three, he rushed back to his brothers. "Cahn, Quinn, they're moving again." He barked sharply. "Let's go."
"Why are we following them again?" Quinn asked. Bane sighed, shaking his fur out. "Because," he explained. "The vixen has a pup. Mother's find food and shelter the best because they want their pups to be safe."
"So she'll lead us to food?" Cahnicay, the youngest, inquired. Bane nodded bluntly.
Notia flicked her ears up curiously. An apology? But what has he done? The naive little vixen stared up at the strange fox across the clearing. -
NOW what should I say?!! Farfetch thought frantically.
Ladybird, quite anxiously, nudged her child into a cave. "I see the previous owners have left a housewarming gift. How sweet."
She lifted the chunks of hare meat up and tossed some to Fang. "Eat quickly, dear." -
"We can't eat precaught rabbit!" Cahnicay protested. Bane hushed him with a steely glare. "Come on, Bane. Chill." He wiggled his whiskery brows mischievously and said, "Cahn and I could distract her. If we have her cub she might hunt for us." Bane thought. "See if you can lead her away from the pup."
-
The vixen chuckled quietly and pushed herself up and laid her banner across her tail. "Ah, I am Rosa." She said simple with a glimmer in her fiery eyes. She inhaled his scent before relaxing as she saw the male as not a threat to herself.
Marcus tensed and dissapeard after dropping the food off. He had gotten father away from the group and smelled something new. A.. Pup? He tilted his head in thought when he saw tracks just up ahead. But over the set of small paws were three larger sets. He looked down in disgust. They couldn't even hunt for themselves.. Pathetic. -
Fang tore voraciously into the food as his mother guzzled the hare in silent but swift gulps. Her wary eyes cut from side to side. "Quiet down, dear," she whispered. "We don't want them to hear us."
The suddenly-frightened kit obeyed Ladybird's orders. -
Bear smiled. "A beautiful name for a beautiful fox," he barked with a grin. "It is a pleasure, Lady Rosa."
Cahnicay and Quinn stumbled into the clearing side by side. "Exuse me miss, but we need help!" Cahnicay barked, sounding frantic. "Our pup sister has run away, and we can't find her." -
Marcus heard barking and he silently slipped closer with a silent snarl. He spotted a vixen, a pup, and two males looking frantic.
She giggled sweetly. "Why thank you." She said with a sly smile. "It's nice to meet you too Sir Bear." Her eyes drifted to the like of food before going back to look into the males eyes. -
Cahnicay is talking to Ladybird, right??)
