Tia quickly flipped to another page and read it. Tia frowned. This wasn't making any sense. Tia flipped back to the Dragon Kingdom chapter and read through it again quickly. The facts did and didn't match up. Tia shook her head and was starting to get frustrated. This was confusing.

Nova lay in bed, tossing and turning. Then he felt Shara's presence and sat up. He didn't need to yawn. -
At this point, Tia had 6 books open, reading them and comparing facts. Tia let out a frustrated groan. Nothing was adding up anymore. Tia went inside to get her enchanted backpack. It was enchanted because you could put whatever you wanted in it and it never got heavier or filled. All you had to do was say what you put in it and it would come out. Tia stuffed the books into the bag along with a pen, paper, her grimoire (book of spells), extra clothes, and some magic items. Tia closed her eyes. "Convertens caligo," she muttered. She disappeared along with her bag, and reappeared beside Shara.

Shara smiled at her friend's reappearance. "We have one stop to make first." She in curled her long silver claws, revealing to Tia a necklace. "It's a blessing from a few of my acquaintances." She laughed quietly. "Travel for eight straight years and you make some interesting friends." She held the jewelry out. It was a long silver chain with a teardrop shaped pandant on the end. It was an icy blue sapphire from Winter's domain. "It seemed fit for the water maiden."

Tia smiled. "Your friends have my thanks," she said. Tia took the necklace and put it on. "It's cute," she said. Then Tia looked curious and thoughtful, "what kind of stop?"

Yawning, Nova slunk out of bed. He trudged downstairs and fixed a plate of snozzberry pancakes. Maybe Tia will accept these, he thought, starting outside.
Nova heard Shara and Tia talking nearby. He was secretly hoping to catch Tia alone-- but what the heck; he could share. "Hey guys!" the elf called, hurrying over. -
