Nova sighed, embracing Tia.
-
After Nova pulled away, Tia sighed. "I need to go think," she said, quietly. She walked away from Nova and Shara and over to a small stream near the house. She sat down and closed her eyes. "Pertinent ad me profunda aquosis mundi," she mumbled to herself. When she opened her eyes, they were glowing blue. She was in a trance. People knew not to disturb her when she was in a trance.
("Pertinent ad me profunda aquosis mundi" means Connect me to the depths of the watery world) -
Shara curled her silver neck around the young elf in comfort. Nova, I'm so sorry... the dragon nuzzled her friend lightly with the tip of her muzzle.
-
Bump)
-
Stroking Shara's mane, Nova replied, Thanks, Shara. Everything will be... okay. I hope.
-
Shara nodded solemnly. I hope also. But I know better than anyone that bonds can and will break.
-
Around Tia, circles of water formed. Then they all dissolved. Tia's brow furrowed. She took a deep breath. Tia focused on a single question, the same question she had been asked by Nova, and now she wasn't so sure: Do I want this?
-
Nova hung his head, a silent-but-violent battle going on between his heart and his brain.
Be smart and give the girl what she wants.
No, fool! You love her! MAKE her fall in love with you! You can't let her go! -
Shara closed her eyes. She was so tired of all this. Love was so difficult...
-
Tia's mind was no different then it was before. Even after all that, she still had no answer. Tia sighed and lied down in the stream. Love was way too complicated.
-
Nova slowly shuffled inside, heart aching.
Love... hurts. -
We really need Tia's decision before we can do anything...)
Shara nudged Nova lightly. -
(Or do we... *evil grin* lol)
Tia slowly walked into Nova's home. She stared at her feet. "Nova," she called. "I'm... Still unsure, to be honest. For now I would prefer to help Shara. The excitement might be scrambling my brain." Tia said, a bit quieter. She blinked back tears. She was hardly paying attention to what was happening anymore. She was dazed from the spell, and confused from life. -
Idk, didn't they already have this argument? It might be easier if she just picked. But I guess it doesn't matter.)
-
(Yeah... I'm the one that's unsure. I'm way too attached to my characters! So basically, I'm feeling what she's feeling and it's messing up my plot and writing skills. But now Tia is staying with that response. So no one can change her mind at this point.)
