Nova knew Tia was lying by the sorrowful look on her face when she exited. Leaving Jordan and Shara, he excused, "I'm gonna go... y'know... wield something..."
He found Tia by the edge of the lake and sat down next to her. He took her hand (just in a friendly, reassuring manner) and asked if she was okay. -
Tia nodded. She quickly wiped her eyes, but it was still obvious that she'd been crying. "I'm fine," she said hoarsely. "I'm just practicing." Tia stuck her foot in the water and the tide went up a bit. She looked down. The tears were starting again. Tia forced them back. She didn't want to cry. Then she remembered what her mom always said to her during hard times: People don't cry because they're weak. They cry because they've been strong for too long. Tia smiled. She had cried. But now she's strong, waiting for a time when she was too strong to shed her tears. "Thanks," she said, quietly.

As if reading her mind, Nova soothed, "You're a strong girl, Tia. I know you'll make it."

Tia nodded. Then she quickly stood up. "Well," she said, cheerfully, "I have to practice so unless you want to be whacked in the face by a messed up spell, I'd move." Tia smiled.

Nova nodded, turning the direction of the woods. "Alright," he said, walking away. "Except you won't mess up."

Tia sighed. "I know," she mumbled. She probably wouldn't mess up a spell. Tia opened her bag and found a book. She took it out and opened it. Then she started to read it.

Nova began wielding a sterling silver sword as a gift to Tia, sheathing/in sheathing gold claws for Shara, and a bronze bow and arrow for Jordan.

Tia read through the pages of the book carefully. It contained spells that her mother made. Tia read over a page a few times then held out her hand in the direction of a large rock. She stuck her feet in the water. "Water saw," Tia muttered. A small wave of water rose and formed a small saw blade. It sliced halfway through the rock before it desolved. Tia put her hand down, panting. Sweat trickled down her forehead. It was still difficult.

Karsha walked in a small cave unaware of what she may find on the other side.
"This kid better be worth my time.Wherever she may be." -
Nova realized Karsha had walked into his weilding cave. Surprised, he wheeled around to face the elf. "Who... wh-who are you?!" he stammered, disrespecting her rudeness.

Tia's story arc is over. That was fun! Anyway, who wants the next story arc?)
Tia was still tired from before she fainted and now she was using magic for training. She mentally scolded herself. Why would she train now? She barely had any magic as it was. So instead, she went through her bag again. She found the dagger, her pictures, and a book. She took the book out and put the other one back. She read the cover out loud: "The History of Magic." -
