  Alice nuzzled Miku to soothe her. "She won't..." Alice blurted, not thinking straight. "...because we're going to find her!!"

  Soon it begins to rain. All of the Oedigrees, who despise water, take cover in their apartment.
  
  But Chara, who secretly enjoyed rainfalls, slipped away outside before anyone noticed.
  
  She saw a limp body in the distance. Cautiously she backed away, but then seeing a CAT ear twitch, she knew it was a feline being like her. Chara padded up to the poor thing, not caring whether it was Pedigree or Non-Pedigree or Outsider.

  Face etched with worry, Alice mewed timidly, "Well... umm... alright, as soon as this blasted rain lets up."
  
  "Come, Winona," urged Streak. "Want to romp in the puddles?? It's quite fun!"
  
  Chara meowed hoarsely at the stranger, pawing at him cautiously but relentlessly. "Get up," she urged. "Are you okay? Who are you?" She immediately licked his wounds.

  Flint was laying with Storm. Kuna was asleep under an old tarp.

  Soon the rainstorm abated, and Alice realized it was time to go.
