He kissed her forehead and nuzzled her cheek.

She then fell back asleep, her arms dropping.

He waited a bit until he slipped out of the bed. He walked slowly to the window but stopped. He didn't want to leave. He sighed and walked back to her bed. He lied back down.

There was voices coming toward them and they grew louder.

He sat up quickly. He had a panicked look and shook her awake.

She sat up quickly, alert. "W-what?"

"Someone one is coming, I need somewhere to hide." He was scared, no terrified.

Jolene's eyes widen and she pointed in the bathroom.

He quickly got to the bathroom and shut the door.

She lied back down, pretending she was asleep. Her brother and her dad openned the door, checking if she was there.

Ed stayed quiet and motionless. Listening for them to leave.

They closed the door, leaving after.

He waited until he knew they were far away enough and walked out of the bathroom.

Jolene sat up laughing.

He smiled and sat on her bed. "That was close." He whispered as he pulled her onto his lap and wrapped his arms around her waist.
