He chuckled lightly and held his hand out for the bunny.

It hopped toward him and jumped on Jolene's thigh.

He scratched its head gently and glanced at Jolene, then to the sky. it was getting late.

The bunny hop off and Jolene shifted.

He sighed gently and picked her up bridal style, careful not to wake her.

She instantly clung to him, yawning.

He chuckled quietly and started walking towards her village.

Her eyes flutter open slowly and she looked up at him.

He kissed her forehead. "Go back to sleep."

She closed her eyes and did so.

He smiled and found the village. He snuck in quietly and found her room, he used one arm to open the window, climbing through quickly. He put her down on the bed carefully.

She muttered, her eyes still closed. "Please stay..."

He smiled lightly. "Just for a bit." He lied down next to her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

She smiled, snuggling up to him.
