Skyheart smiled softy. It did seem like Keith shared a special bond with the twolegs. She watched curiously, wondering why a scratch behind the ears was necessary. Was it a show of kindness? Superiority? Shaking her head, she grinned again and layed her head on her paws.

Keith wriggled out of Dan's grasp, and padded over to Skyheart.

The black spotted she cat sat up and regarded him with an admiring look. For a kittypet, he was very smart.
