Grapekit got up and placed a paw in front of him as if he were learning to walk all over again. -
The tabby watched him carefully, eyes narrowed.

He took another step, and felt the tabby's eyes burning.

He glared, while his mind was in overdrive. Is this kit younger than we think? He looks 4 moons old, but he's walking like he's less than 1 moon!

Grapekit put another step, his feet hurt, but he didn't know why. He felt like something was gonna attack him at any moment...

The tabby flicked his tail. -
Willowkit layed down again with a little huff. She looked up at the tabby tom who had replaced Leafstar as her guard. "...hello..." She mewed quietly, watching him intently.
Gullfeather winced. "I do regret not assisting the clan in that battle. I had been mourning Jaggedpaw. Surely, you of all cats understand the pain of losing a child." She explained, stretching to lay down on the branch. Her yellow eyes showed no emotion, but her features were lit with a small smie. She flicked her tail. "Shall I follow Jayclan?" She asked. -
Snowflake nodded, slightly less angry.
The tabby glared at her.
The 2 cats returned from their pointless discussion. Leafstar went into the nursery, and the other tom left. -
Willowkit shrugged and turned away. Obviously kits were not as sacred in Jayclan.
Gullfeather stood up, a cool wind blowing her fur. For once, all trace of hatred and regret had dissapeared from her being, leaving only determination. "If I don't return in three days, you must tell the clan I am dead. I will rescue those kits, I swear to Starclan I will." -
Snowflake nodded. "Good Luck, Gullfeather."
"Was he being mean?" Leafstar asked as the tabby left. -
Willowkit smirked. "Concerned now, are we?" She asked. Then, in a more serious tone, she replied. "No, just not friendly either."
Gullfeather nodded. "Thank you. Tell..." She faltered, her eyes glistening. "If I don't come back, tell Skyheart I'm sorry..." She nodded to Snowflake again, before leaping up the tree, hopping towards the Jayclan border.
